Being there to hang out on a weekend with some friends. The Buffet spread is good enough to have a good brunch. Added advantage is that they include unlimited beer (limited brands) in the buffet price. The vegetarian spread was good and the taste was average. The n0n-vegeterain dishes were not great. The Afghani Boti was a bit under cooked and didn't enjoy it.The whole exercise was to meet the friend have a goog beer and enjoy the food in their company.

Maybe we were there too early? The location is good - and it was the walkable option from our hotel in Lagos where traffic rules your life. The beer wasn't really cold and the food was only ok. The servers were great though and the location on the water was soothing.Thank you for you review

After deliberation this restaurant was chosen, food menu, drinks menu no problem, the draught(draft) beer was tasting bitter maybe it had just crossed it's shelf life! We ordered for some snacks with the beer, onion bhajia was served and chicken tikka, chicken tikka nice presentation and Good taste, onion bhajia was overfried, you know how chickpea flour tastes when overfried.the restaurant manager and the steward picked the plate up on complaining, we continued with our food of dal, Madras chicken and some vegetable with garlic naan. Taste was good. On getting the bill we saw we were bill d for the the bhajia! On asking we were just curtly told we can order another item for same price but we can delete this amount from the bill period!! They have survived for too long it seems now. the expected much from a Indian restaurant in a foreign land. Please guys don't spoil our name.thanks.

A great find in Victoria Island! Spice Route has great Indian food and excellent service. We went for the Sunday lunch buffet and it was a delectable feast! It is hard to find something in VI that is affordable, but the lunch buffet at Spice Route is reasonably priced and delicious. The biryani is excellent and the chaat station makes fresh bhel. The lunch buffet includes beer, which was a bonus. Definitely recommended.
