Lovely staff, very smiley and friendly. Do everything they can to accommodate any dishes that arenât on the menu. My husband wanted to have chicken bhuna, they only had a lamb, but was able to change it for chicken. Rice wasnât greasy, neither was the nann bread. All our dishes were different, so not all the same churned out stuff like some Indians abroad. Definitely great place for a change in food taste from Greek. Only thing which is a little puzzle, the photo of the front on here is not really anything like the place itâs self sun-bleached and a little tired. But nevertheless it was lovely.

After one year we have returned to this Indian restaurant and we got a shock from the beginning till the end!Last time I have rated this restaurant with 3 points and now I can only rate it with 1 point!Let me start with our arrival. At about 3:00 p.m. we were the only guests and were sitting outside - next to the street- on the patio. Nobody came to serve us! After 10 minutes I went inside and have asked if the restaurant is open and it was confirmed! Then a waiter came outside to take the order. He was not able to understand English although this is the language what they learn at school. In addition he was not informed what is written in the menu.We have asked for dry white wine and the so named waiter was unable to understand us. In addition he had no knowledge about any wines which were listed in the menu! Then - because of his lack of English knowledge I have asked for another colleague who is able to speak and understand English. Somebody from the kitchen came and he had the same problems with English. Finally we ordered for starters Papadam ( the thin Indian bread) and garlic bread. For main we ordered prawns in Curry (10,00 â¬) and mixed veggie Curry ( 6,50 â¬).Rice was charged with 2,50 â¬.Garlic naan (bread) was charged with 2,00 â¬.The pappadam was served with 2 (instead of 3 in the year before) different dips.Because of this I informed the waiter that we want to get the third spicy dip with tomatoe and chili as well.In addition I have shown him his dips and a picture with the 3 different dips from 2018.Despite that the dips we got served were of very poor taste our waiter disappeared and was not seen for 10 minutes. So I went to the other colleague standing in the kitchen and making my complaint again. I also have shown him the pictures comparing 2018 and now in 2019.After another 10 minutes we received our main courses without the missing dip.The server said nothing. So we gave up to remind him at our missed dip for the bread. Then I had a look at my prawns. They were swimming in an oily sauce. The taste of the little prawns were a nightmare. They were deep frozen and the taste was like rubber or even chewing gum. The taste of the curry sauce was also a nightmare. There was no taste of curry at all. Also the look was a nightmare as well!Similar was the look and taste of the veggie meal. Finally to say: The only good taste had the wine (18 â¬) which I have chosen. Then I wanted to pay with credit card.It was rejected with the words: " Go outside "!There was no sentence like: " We do not accept credit cards"!Finally I cannot recommend this restaurant! It is a an unbelieveable downgrade and let down. Of course we will not return. My subjective rating:Location: 2 points Service: 1 point Value for money: 1 point Preparation and quality of meals:1 pointCredit cards are not accepted!Wifi is available.

Just visited this restaurant. Ordered paneer Karachi and bindhi masala, 3 butter naans and plain rice- paneer was below average compared to UK standards. Naan was also pretty poor (not in a tandoor airy style. More like flatbread) Plain rice was good (can't really mess up plain boiled rice I suppose) and bhindhi was also good- initially the waitress pulled a face when I asked for a table outside which hadn't yet been cleared from a previous customer. I was happy to wait for her to clear it but she seemed to have a problem- then I asked the owner how best to get to the old fort quickly. He offered no advice. He said he would let us know a taxi cost but didn't bother- I asked the owner if he could serve us food quickly as we were in a rush and he duely obliged which was a positive- at the end of our meal, I asked the owner if we could pack up leftovers and bizarrely he seemed reluctant. He also asked if he could put it all in one container. Not sure why he thought mixing bhindi, paneer, naan and rice in one container was a sensible suggestion- finally when my father was taking some sesame seeds at the end, he again pulled a faceOverall food was 5/10 by UK standards and staff behaviour 3/10. I would not recommend and will not revisit. I suppose partly my expectations were based on reviews and we had travelled 1.5 hours just to eat here. Overall a thoroughly disappointing experience
