We visited this restaurant on recommendation from a rickshaw driver in Kolhapur. The ambience as well as cleanliness was good. The service was prompt. The unlimited lunch included good spread of dishes with good taste. The restaurant was located at central place and convenient while driving towards national highway. Overall very good experience.

Mouth watering Tambda and Pandhra rassa, to begin with increased our hopes about food and no wonder...the food came to our expectations....this was during my first visit to this superb restaurant....we had a mix of vegetarians and nonvegetarians in the family group and bothe were extremely satisfied with the food...The ambiance too is very good and very friendly staff....one must try Kheema Pav for breakfast (my recommendation as in subsequent tour, i tried BR too there, even Poha and Uppit were delicious (my wife prefers veg stuff for Breakfast!) in all excellent experience and I make it a point now to plan one meal at this place

This is one of the oldest restaurants, located in Kolhapur city, offering typical local delicacies of chicken & mutton varieties. It is average in terms of food quality, ambience & service. Food is spicy & hygiene conditions are not up to the mark.

Had lunch at this hotel. It is is in good demand. However, the service is very prompt and fast. The food was very tasty and the quantity per plate was abundant. The ambiance was pleasant. Would recommend for South-Indian dish lovers.

We visited Parakh for dinner and ordered Special mutton thali. Along with Sukha mutton which is standard we were offered a choice of mutton kheema or egg masala and chapati or bhakri. We opted for mutton kheema and chapati.Sukha mutton was very spicy with a lot of pepperoni and very tasty, so also kheema. Food was steaming hot so were the chapatis. Lal rassa and pandhara rassa were tasty and were refilled continuesly.After finishing they served pulao along with some mutton pieces. I must add here that when we entered the restaurant we were starving and tired after a long drive of about seven hours. By the time we finished our stomachs were filled to the brim.All this at Rs 270. Though I must mention here that it not a fancy place sans any decor. It is located along the main road and has ample parking.Highly recommended for foodies.

In Kolhapur, Phadatare Misal is believed to be the best misal in the world. The place is tiny and opens at 9 am till 2 pm. But by 10 am there is a significant queue built up even on a mid-week day on a blistering hot morning. Waiting in queues for good food can be fun, especially if one likes anticipation of an experience sometimes even more than the experience itself. Thankfully misal consumption is not much of a time consuming process and some twenty minutes later we are seated and served our misal. The first to arrive is the onions followed by the freshly baked bread, along with a bowl having sprouts with some mashed potato â this is called usal. Soon thereafter the petrol for misal, called rassa floods the plate. Now this gravy has all the taste and spice. Some people like to have curds with the misal, while some like me want the undiluted taste of the misal. This misal is full of flavour and chillies. Now is it the best misal I have had? Perhaps not, but it is good.

Been here with family and friends. Restaurant suggested by a local friend.A very crowded place. Too many guest. As a result you have to flow with the rush. Order your food fast, eat Fast and leave fast. The service staff also speaking so fast, for an outsider who has a problem understanding the language it is very embarrassing to ask them to Repeat what they said. Not a place to relax, not a place to enjoy a time out with family. Not a place to meet a friend and have a chat. Place being very very noisy. Food quality was OK. Not to our expectations.Respected Guest, We are thankful to you for choosing to dine in our hotel. We have taken note of your encouraging 3 Star review about our hotel on Trip Advisor. It seems that you were slightly disappointed / dissatisfied with our food for not meeting your high expectations from us & also for not getting to enjoy a relaxing time in our restaurant. Would definitely recommend a thali here. We had a dry chicken thali and dry mutton thali. The Tambda rassa and Pandhra rassa that come with it tease the palate in different ways. The solkadi served is also of the highest standard. Service is quietly good.
