Staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is cooked to order and not buffet, nice air-conditioned restaurant. We have been staying in Thailand for 10 days and this was our favourite meal of them all- wish we found this restaurant earlier!Nice chat with the owner and his wife who checked if our meals were spicy enough for us and we are definitely going to come back! I like my curries and Highway Curry is 5 minutes from where we were staying so I thought we'd give it a try, not expecting it to be as we discovered. I wanted a starter and like my onion bhaji. I hadn't had one for years so that was ordered. Then my wife ordered a starter. Little did we know that four good size freshly cooked onion bhaji's would arrive and they were really excellent. I've had overcooked greasy fried onion balls before, but this wasn't them. These were perfection personified. Hot, crispy and very tasty. My wife had a hot bread, a roti or nan and good job too. For a main course I had a lamb curry, and asked for spicy. I have no problems with Madras or spicy foods, and this was delicious. Spicy, but not palate destructive. My wife had one of the "sizzling" plates and it too was superb, and very quickly devoured. All in all an excellent choice of venue. Since eating there I have had many friends who are of the same opinion. If you want a very good curry, inexpensive but high quality, Highway Curry is a must. The staff are lovely and helpful with suggestions. Food is hot, fresh, and a lot of it. We took "doggy bags" back for our son. We had an amazing meal and service this evening at the restaurant. It is the best Indian food I've tasted in a long time. We ordered chicken pakora, vegetable samosas, chicken tikka masala, mutton bhuna with egg fried rice and garlic nan. Amazing taste and meal portions. We asked for more spice and indeed they were very flavoured. The food just melts in your mouth. The staff were very welcoming and attentive. Thank you we will return. Laura and Chris (From Scotland)
