This place has a different ambiance than any other restaurants in Ranchi as it's interiors is simple and have used the natural light instead of any other dim light restaurants. One of the best places for fine-dine in this city.I like the buffet here whether it's breakfast or lunch, both are good and has variety. They have good service and the quality of food is also good and delicious.

My memories of Madrasi Hotel on J Road dates back to 1966-71 when I was studying in KMPM Higher Secondary School (Now KMPM Inter College). I used to cross it everyday on my way to school and sometimes friends would save enough pocket money to grab a Dosa here. It was also our popular family outing joint and as kids we always looked forward to enjoy the delicacies here. During my recent visit to Jamshedpur, I couldnt resist visiting this place with my wife and we also invited some of our friends to join us. It was a nostalgic reunion at a nostalgic place where we refreshed and cherished all the old memories.

This is one of the oldest and the most famous sweets shop of Ranchi. The sweets you get a fresh and of a very good quality. Price is reasonable. They have also gone under renovation 2-3 years back and now this place looks more hygienic than before. If you are a very hygiene conscious person you won't prefer to sit it can eat at this place. But you can do a take away of sweet for your family. This place is located in the heart of the city i.e. main road. Apart from sweets they also serve some South Indian and other fast food items like chole bhature, chat, lassi etc. You can also purchase snacks items like Namkeen, mixture, chocolates etc. from here.

This the restaurant aka Melange is attached to the hotel by the same name. Its a decent restaurant. The breakfast buffet was good though could have been better. The restaurant is a little restricted in space that affects in the arrangement of the buffet. However, some of the things like juice could have more options.

You get over 30 types of Dosas. Some are with North Indian touch too. 3 -4 types of Chutneys are available in line with Chennai's Murugan Idlis.. Idlis, Vada, Upma, Uttapam all are to the South Indian perfection...Perfect place to try, specially on weekend mornings, when the Jamshedpur's who-is-who is trying to queue up. Sometimes you have to wait to get a table...Follow it up by filter coffee....

we visit this place again and again since we love the food quality and the taste.the service was quick and we enjoyed the food. But compared to the price the quantity is too little as compared to other restaurants.we again opted for the chinese since we liked it last time.also the staff is too eager to serve or to take away the plates.after the first serving they can leave the dishes on the table so that we can eat slowly and serve ourselves as required.otherwise everything is fine and we will visit this place again and againDear Guest,Namashkar!Thank you so much for sharing your experience and words of appreciation. We are humbled and delighted to hear that you enjoyed the cuisine. We have noted your feedback about the quantity, service and clearance of food, will surely lookinto the same. Look forward to welcoming you back soon.Best Regards,Swati Chakravorty
