This is the best Indian takeaway in the whole of Yorkshire fantastic food so much variety and all taste amazing friendly staff and great service
This is a takeaway not a restaurant, and with the Westbourne Spice just down the road it faces serious competion in the taste stakes, and doesn't win. This isn't by any means a terrible meal, it's just a little bland and odd. First off, why is everything a weird orange colour, from the seekh and shami kebabs (both of which have the taste and texture of tinned hamburgers), to the bhajis to both curries. An orange Keema Bhuna ? What's going on there ?The food is ok, but we've ordered two distinctly different curries and they both taste the same, the portions are large so no complaints about value, but you can get better elsewhere.

We were staying at the nearby Olicana lodges and found this on Just Eat. We used it twice as the food was so good. We have chicken korma, chicken tikka snack with salad and chicken tikka masala. All really nicely cooked. Poppadums and naan were good too. Definitely recommend.

We had a fine vegetarian meal at Panache last night. We ordered the Shahi Delight (a sweetish, creamy dish with mango, tomato and coriander), tarka dal, chana bhaji, some bread, pilau rice and an onion salad. All were extremely good, well spiced and aromatic, and nicely presented. The Shahi Delight was unusual but pleasant, a dish I have not come across before. The service was good from the customary distant waiters. The beer selection was the usual with the addition of Cobra IPA, a mediocre brew. I have said it before, and will again, why not have some beer on offer from local breweries for those that don't want flavourless beer from multinationals?

The staff look after you from entering the door. Friendly staff. They make sure you have everyting you need.Good menu, choice fo things not often on other menus else where. Monk fish, pheasant. Made a nice change. The food is excellent. Bring your own alcohol is allowed or you can buy in the restaurant. One thing I missed, no Lassi to finish. But that's just my thoughts. There is enough space for tables to be moved about to accommodate large groups or just intimate tables for two.Nice decor, I do think a nice environment adds to the experience and this did not dissapoint.Good flat access for anyone with limited walking ability.Parking nearby at the rear of Queens Hall community hall car park.

Fine Bengali Cuisine in the heart of Ilkley, West Yorkshire.
After visiting Ilkley last Saturday afternoon we decided to call in at Seema's restaurant after hearing many positive reviews. There is street parking adjacent to the restaurant. We had made a reservation 30 minutes before our arrival as we had heard it is a little on the small side. On entering we found it to be very well furnished in a modern style. We were immediately shown to our window table by very friendly staff. They took our drinks order whilst we made our choice from the extensive menu. Just one negative is that 2 items we initially chose from the menu, namely Tetley smooth beer and chicken seekh kebabs are no longer available and I suggest that these ought to be covered up on the menus as it creates a rather poor initial impression. That hiccup over we chose onion bhajis and lamb seekh kebabs as starters which arrived in a timely manner. These were served with a side salad and mint yoghurt. Both were extremely fresh and tasty. For mains I went for chicken pathia served with chaphatis whilst my wife asked for keema saag which wasn't on the menu but the restaurant kindly offered to prepare for her; tha latter served with mushroom pilau rice. Again both arrived in a timely manner and were simply delicious and of very good portion sizes. Throughout our stay the staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Complimentary had towels were provided after which the bill, which was very reasonable, was settled in a very efficient manner. Overall we were very impressed and we will certainly be adding it to our list of favourite Ilkley eateries. Thoroughly recommended.

Like many old timers this venue in the days of old was a great little chef . For many a year it's become a favourite curry house but a bit far for us . A bright Sunday morning though makes it a spot to run out to and then a buffet lunch. Easy parking sets the mood for a pleasant lunch. Then everything was just so pleasant. The staff good spirited and friendly sat us at a pleasant table. The atmosphere was relaxing, though busy. What a difference a good carpet plus tablecloths and linen napkins make. Nice to see a mix of customers from babes to us oldies but without modern day loudness. We had the buffet , which is less expensive at lunch time and thus not as extensive. Still just how much more do you need? Everything was fresh and tasty and the odd delay for replenishments gave us time to enjoy the efficient service. Full marks at the end of the meal when the sweet display was depleted, but still a small choice, the waiter prior to refilling the table came and offered us first choice . Thank you for that thoughtful gesture.

âSACHIâSâ Restaurant and Bar serving foods and drinks around the world is situated at Moors Shopping Centre, Ilkley, near Car park. We serve "WORLD CUISINE" here. So you will find a classic French dish, while others can enjoy a fresh Pasta or a Risotto. W
We paid our third or fourth visit to Sachi's last Friday night and it was as good as ever. Really tasty food, well presented, fairly priced, with friendly, efficient but unobtrusive service in a spacious, relaxing environment. What's not to like? Why, then, has it never been very busy when we've been in? Perhaps it's because of the location - at the far end of an arcade, off the main car park, with all other units (Specsavers, charity shop etc.) being closed in the evenings. Yes, there are signs at the arcade entrance for 'Sachi's' and a menu board but some people will just walk past without venturing into the arcade. And at the rear of the building overlooking the side street, the old signs for '4 Kitchens' are still up and lit,and this perhaps adds a bit of confusion. Also some people just like to be seen - as evidenced by a well populated 'Broadleys' just along the way directly overlooking the car park.Whatever the reason, if diners, whether visitors or residents, are just walking past I urge you to give it a try. It would be a shame if this excellent, independent restaurant fell by the wayside - Ilkely needs places like this.Thank you very much for your review and we appreciate your concern about Sachiâs. Sachiâs world cuisine cater for a broader part of community. It got some lovely authentic French recipes while lovely hand made pastas... while it creat some Asian flavours....Sachiâs is serving some authentic Indian recipes.... in one word you can find: quality and varieties under one roof.Someone loves food must visit Sachiâs at-least for once to enjoy a proper gourmet experience....Yes we are a bit concerned about the footfalls at Sachiâs...But we are very confident that Ilkley people will certainly come and try some proper food crafted by very talented chefs??!!We wish to see you again and againKind regardsSachi
