My family and I were really looking forward to our Indian. Ordered around tea time on Saturday. Food arrived really fast which I always quite worrying. We were right to be worried, the meat looked as if it was a few days old, probably around 5 or six small tough pieces of chewy lamb. Sauce was so thin and tasteless, my wife couldn't tell the difference between her glass of water and the oily disgusting sauce (apart from the appearance). REALLY REALLY bad takeaway, In fact this is by far the worst takeaway we have EVER experienced and I mean out of all foods we have ever eaten. This may sound dramatic but seriously if you come across this restaurant then please avoid like the plague. If we are sick the next day I wouldn't be surprised.Saturday night ruined.

We usually enjoy the food here and this meal was no different. We were all really happy with our meals. The two tandoori dishes came up perfectly sizzling. All the sides were delicious too. There was no problems splitting the bill at the end either. We were on the table by the door so a bit chilly sometimes.

We have visiting this small Indian restaurant in Bridge street for over thirty years and now that a new generation of the family owned business has taken the helm the flavours have surpassed all that have gone before them. Simply Delicious!

Strange one this. Decor is a bit weird and service decidedly sketchy but the food did taste nice (although the chicken was a little tough). The wine, although extremely limited in choice was drinkable. Worth going if you prepare yourself for the service glitches, Iâd definitely eat the food again .. but via a takeaway.

hello As my restaurant is moving to different address what do I need to do? please can someone tell me how to do that or can I speak to someone about that. many thanks Abdul
I have visited this restaurant before and was not particularly impressed. This was 4 or so years ago so seeing it was rated one of the best in Godalming I had to give it another go.I ordered the mixed starter, meat thali, and chicken Dhansak. The starter was nice, a little under-seasoned for my liking but it was just what I would expect from an everyday Indian restaurant. The Thali again was nice but that was it. It was just nice. The Dhansak had a nice sweet, sour and hot vibe to it and in my opinion, this was the best part of the meal.I really want there to be a mark between average and very good as I feel average is a bit mean and very good is a bit too much. Its was a nice meal, not the best I have ever had but nowhere near the worst.

My Wife and I were travelling back from our Daughters to Cranleigh when we passed the restaurant. The welcome was very friendly and during the evening both the food and service were excellent. We visit many Indian Restaurants but I have to say we really enjoyed the atmosphere which together with the food and service made it a very enjoyable evening. We will definitely visit again in the near future. Many thanks.
