We hope to take you on a culinary journey of the Indian subcontinent. You are invited to explore the many regional styles of cooking that India has to offer. From Tamil Nadu in the south to Delhi and Punjab in the north, from Goa and Kerala on the western
Went by chance very late on a Saturday night after checking into nearby hotel. Well-received and shown to our table. Incredibly extensive menu with several dishes new to us although many variants on a theme. While we enjoyed our starters we discussed with our waiter a main dish which was relatively mild for my wife. When the main dishes came the choice was actually too spicy for her and without a moment's hestitation the waiter whisked the dish away and brought a similar but much milder version with additional rice.Somehow we got involved with another member of staff on the skills of napkin-folding - he was preparing other tables. My wife received an impromptu lesson on the skill which she thoroughly enjoyed and was even invited back the next day for more "classes". Unfortunately we did not have the time to return.Overall a great evening with good food and an unexpected delightful "class".Top marks to the staff

Here at Spice our Head Chef, Zia Ali, has been established for over 35 years and served Chorleywood and now Chalfont St Peter since 1994. We as a team take great pride in providing an irresistible variety of authentic dishes with the freshest ingredients
First time i have ever encountered a restaurant sneak off down to road and back with our food and pass it off as theirs!I ordered in restaurant, but my other half was waiting in car outside and saw it.They were whispering to each other in restaurant si i couldn't hear.Very expensive takeaway and very salty.Icing on the cake was the sleazy waiter who felt me up and down my back!If the food comes from Delhi Spice might as well eat there as takeaway is £10 cheaper for same thing and no sleazy waiter.Dear AustinPow,I am taking your review extremely seriously and have begun a thorough investigation. However to do this, I will need you to come in and give me further information regarding the date and approximate time of your visit. Please also bring a receipt, this will help me immensely. To accuse a staff member of touching you inappropriately is a serious allegation and I am keen to resolve this matter with you sensitively, if you can provide me with more information I can then check with my internal systems. I am sorry you felt that you could not contact me in the first instance. I would have been able to assure you that all food purchased here comes from my kitchen. As a chef myself and having served the local community for the last 25 years, I pride myself on our restaurants home cooked, authentic recipes and I feel deeply hurt that you are suggesting your food came from elsewhere.I want to put this right so please take the time to come and see me to help me investigate further. Look forward to seeing you soon.Sincerely, Zia

Ordered a takeaway for collection. They clearly donât start cooking until you arrive, pay and then start the wait. This is the second time I have waited over an hour from ordering.Food is not even worth the wait. Greedy business that puts the customer second.Lots of other places nearby. Use them.

Experience the exciting atmosphere at Javitri restaurant. A deliciously diverse menu of authentic Indian & Bangladeshi cuisines. Our chef has conjured up curry for every palate; a journey of discovery through the majesty and depth of Indian cooking. We ha
Large, modern Indian fairly central in Uxbridge. It is fairly typical of most Indian restaurants, offering all the usual Tandoori dishes, plus korma, Bhuna, etc. There is a range of more interesting specials. Not a place for a special event IMO, but good for a friends or family night out. Friendly service.

This visit was for three adults on a busy Friday evening. Parking was available at the front of the building. There was a large party in the rear area and we were found a quiet table at the front, and we were able to look into the kitchen. We found the whole experience excellent. Our waiter was attentive without being intrusive. The food was very tasty, not your usual, 'base sauce with extras thrown in'. We could watch it all being cooked fresh. My wife's king prawns were slightly undercooked, but this was quickly rectified with apologies (however, lost one 'star'). The chicken dishes were perfect, as were the vegetables.Good selection of drinks. We will certainly put this on the 'go again' list.Dear Richard, Thank you for your detailed review, we value your feedback :-) Apologies again for the undercooked prawns and we have noted this down to ensure it does not happen again. We are glad that you enjoyed the food and look forward to seeing you again soon :-) Please kindly take the time to download our 'MC Group' app from the app store to sign up for loyalty benefits & discounts to use at all of our venues. This smart addition to the Gerrards Cross dining scene regularly impresses the well-heeled locals with its unique fusion of Indian and pan-Asian cuisine. Indigo Bar and Grill is a bright, modern space with bold red accents, wooden floors, and slick black
It had been one of those days. An eight hour transatlantic flight, leaving me what is generally described as knackered. But also with a craving for good Indian food, perhaps the one mainstream culinary offering that is not adequately represented in Las Vegas. So there was only one answer to the 'What shall we do for supper' question. I had passed Indigo many times, hurtling past on the A40. It looks more like a pub than restaurant from outside, and I guess that is what it once was. But it is a very welcoming and nicely laid out restaurant once you step within. And, from a friendly greeting given by a large, cheerful, bearded chap who I took to be the owner, through to our exit after a fine meal, what a good decision it was to have made the visit. We shared a fusion style chicken starter. Delicious. My partner enjoyed a lamb main, while I went for a tomato and coriander chicken dish which was simple but outstanding. Add some dahl, a couple of nan breads and drink and we we delighted by the food. I almost neglected to say, the service was spot on. We cannot wait to return. Our thanks to the team, and of course I give a very big recommendation.

Unfortunately we had to wait over an hour for our food here as the nice staff wanted to place our order quickly, and we were not ready. Pappadoms were quick! ;) the portions were fresh and on the small size. We had starters each and main course. Price is average for an upscale indian I would say.
