Reviews on Indian food in George Town, Grand Cayman, Caribbean. Georgetown is the capital of the Cayman Islands and one of the most popular cruise ship destinations in the Caribbean, thanks to its year-round tropical weather, white sand beaches and clear blue waters. Don't miss Stingray City and diving and snorkeling near the coral reef. Georgetown offers plenty of duty-free shopping, restaurants and cafes. If you can pull yourself away from the beach, try an excursion to one of the West Indies' few remaining tropical rain forests.

Southern Spice Indian Restaurant definitely means taste, flavor, affection, pleasure, delight, happiness, charm, sentiment, pathos, beauty and essence of Indian Cuisine.
I love Indian cuisine and regularly patronize well-regarded Indian restaurants in London, Washington DC, New York, and Boston. What a wonderful surprise to discover Southern Spice in Grand Cayman! The butter chicken is fantastic and so is the naan. I asked the chef to cook an off-the-menu dish for me - and it was excellent.Southern Spice is a required stop for all âfoodiesâ who visit Grand Cayman.

The outside restaurant at Sunset House offers great value casual dining. It is the perfect place to drop in for a quick meal. I always enjoy the fish fingers and fries. Not sure what type of fish is used, but the goujons are always cooked to perfection and taste wonderful with tartare sauce. The setting is lovely and there is always plenty going on with divers coming and going to do their training. It can be a bit noisy, being right on the flight path to the airport, but we enjoy the business of the place.

Just minutes from George Town, Grand Cayman, Seaharvest Restaurant and My Bar, located at Sunset House, are the essential Caribbean experience. My Bar is a huge open-sided, thatch-roofed cabana with the largest, and at times the liveliest, outdoor bar in
The rum punch is sturdy, the sunset view stunning. The food is prepared in the Seaharvest kitchen, which does a good job with seafood, burger and -- yes! -- Indian food. The service can be slow, but it comes with a warm smile.

The gateway is now a takeout restaurant in Cayman business park - they do deliver it that is what you want. We had all vegetarian options with samosa, lentil dhal and a veg tomato curry, Nan and paratha- it was all delicious. The guy in the front desk was helpful, felt it was a bit of a surprise to him that we walked in, but everything was good. Rice came with curry as did popadum, the meal was big enough for the next day as well. We would go again but maybe order delivery next time!
