Family Owned Restaurant that serves food with love. We have a live kitchen in the center of the restaurant so that our customers can see how we cook numerous breads and Kebabs. See you soon!!!
We went in for a lunch buffet on a weekday. The buffet tables were filled with numerous vegetable and chicken dishes. There were many dishes that we have not seen at typical Indian buffets but we tried as many different dishes at Nala as we could. I did not write down their names but all that we tried were delicious. As for more well known dishes, they had a wonderful, creamy Saag paneer, unlike any I have tasted. They had a fantastic bone-in chicken drumstick curry and a remarkable sweet chili chicken (perhaps that was Thai?). It was a great meal and we will be back soon. An exceptional dining experience you have to try!

Flavor filled. Good selection of foods. Bright clean and friendly. We were there for the Sunday lunch buffet. It is from 11 to 3. Small buffet but lots of variety. Breads were ok. Chicken was excellent. Rice and noodles were very good. Condiments were outstanding. We enjoyed our lunch.
This restaurant is located at the site of the old Green Papaya Thai restaurant. My wife and I went there on the spur of the moment, to sample the food and compare it with the Devi vegetarian Indian restaurant nearby.Based on our experience, Devi doesn't have much to worry about. We were seated promptly; about half of the crowd was Indian, the other half (including us) were Anglo. Understand that this restaurant is located in what used to be a home; our table was in the front living room...the dining room was empty behind us, with an empty table set for eight. We shared our room with another couple (the majority of the dinner patrons were seated on what was the closed-in front porch).Biryani King makes no pretense of trying to have any kind of atmosphere. Our table was a simple four-top, without any tablecloth, or place mats, or flowers on the table. No nothing. In addition, we were seated in the middle of the room, with nothing else around us. The owner's idea of ambiance is to hang pictures on the wall. In one case, a picture from Pier One Imports. With the corner protectors still on it...one of them, with the price. The menu appears to be little more than a two-sided Microsoft Word document; it does say more additions to the menu are to be expected in the future. For now, though, I started with the "Chilli" Chicken, which came out in a timely manner, garnished with green onions. It had a good taste.I had the chicken curry as my entree, served over jasmine rice. Our waiter had to be reminded to bring out the rice. My wife had the chicken dum biryani; not enough chicken, but what there was, was decent enough. She ordered a diet Coke to go with the meal....our waiter brought out a can, and left. No glass, no ice. Just a can.I imagine that take-out here would be a solid option, but there's currently little if any reason to eat in at Biryani King. Merely piping in Indian music does not make for atmosphere. I can recommend the food from this restaurant, but cannot recommend the experience.
