Dereham (/ˈdɪərəm/), also known as East Dereham, is a town and civil parish in the English county of Norfolk. It is situated on the A47 road, about 15 miles (25 km) west of the city of Norwich and 25 miles (40 km) east of King's Lynn. The civil parish has an area of 21.51 km (8.31 sq mi) and in the 2001 census had a population of 15,659 in 6,941 households, the population at the 2011 Census increasing to 18,609. For the purposes of local government, Dereham falls within, and is the centre of administration for, the district of Breckland. The town should not be confused with the Norfolk village of West Dereham, which lies about 25 miles (40 km) away.

We visited here last Friday evening to celebrate my husbandâs birthday and we definitely werenât disappointed.The food was delicious and the atmosphere and the ambience in the restaurant second to none. Itâs a very stylish restaurant and having eaten many times at The Merchants of Spice in Norwich, would say that the food is better. I like the fact that there is less salt used in their cooking. The service is spot on, very attentive without being overbearing. We will definitely be back.

We had not booked and just went in on the off chance . The food was good with friendly service who were very welcoming and hospitable. The restaurant had a great atmosphere good decor, music and service.

We have a great choice of Chinese home deliveries but not Indian , so this was a surprise we decided to try. Ordered chicken tikka, naan, rice and sauces. It came quickly and hot and really well cooked, it was lovely. The meal deals are fantastic value. Hoping the next is as good.

Spice Mango provided our small market town with the first curry house delivery service. The food is pretty good (and I am a harsh critic of curry houses), a wide range of choices, wonderful staff and good value for money; quick too. There is sadly not a 'sit down' restaurant, but if you want a delivery (although others have obviously follwed their lead) you should give them a go - they are good at doing individual things too.
