As always lovely flavours and ready on time. Everything was great. Entree plater was beautiful.Good service and drinks at fair prices. Can take no wine if you wish.

The girlfriend and I came in with a bottle of wine, ordered butter chicken, land korma, rice, roti and samosa. The staff were super friendly and the food was cooked fresh and delicious. Affordable night, only $25 for each and we had lots of food.

We had dinner at Ustav Indian Restaurant to celebrate my son's 17th birthday. We did not reserve a table but were pleasantly surprised to see the restaurant was almost full. The staff were excellent with attention to detail and were warm and friendly. The food although not cheap was of good quality. The portion sizes can be improved especially a typical $20 lamb dish is hardly enough for 2 people. Besides that it was a pleasant dining experience for all of us.

Lovely simple and traditional food tonight at Astaâs Tandoor in Croydon. We ordered butter chicken, beef korma, rice, raita, garlic naan and roti. Plus two mango lassis. $75 for all 3 of us. The gentleman who served us was lovely and very friendly. Portion sizes a little on the small size but big on taste. To finish off we had one serve of gulab jamin - always a nice ending to a meal. If you only go to one Indian restaurant come here. Handi is truly amazing. We had the Royal Banquet and what a feast it was. It covered so much. Goat, fish, chicken plus soo much more. The starters were dream like - tender,tasty. Mains provided a lovely array of tastes and textures. Dessert melted in our mouths.The only thing better than the food was the staff. Have only obtained takeaway from here. Each time the food has been available promptly and they have the presence of mind to also shrink wrap all the containers so there's no transport leakage.The food itself has been great with very generous quantities at reasonable prices.

First timers here. We ordered the lamb sheek kebab, Butter chicken, garlic prawns in a creamy well spiced sauce and kashmiri naan. All were delicious. Will definitely be back.
