Saturday night meal with family. We often get a take away but fancied eating out. The tables are very close together and it was uncomfortable as you couldnât really have a conversation. We were offered a drink and poppadoms - we had almost finished the poppadoms before the drinks came. We then waited 45 minutes for our meal and watched 7 takeaways go out. We tried to get a waiters attention several times to order more drink, but they were too busy. Food came, it was nice, but then we have never in all our years had a complaint with the food here, itâs really good!, but we were board and past hungry when it came. We asked for drinks with the arrival of the food but they never came. After eating we waited 15 minutes for our plates to be cleared, then I asked for the bill, the bill came with the plates still on the table and after 10 mins of waiting to pay I went and paid at the desk. On being asked âhow was everything â I replied it was very poor and slow and I was gasping for a drink so going home. I got a âsorry itâs been busyâ but they still took £70 offering no discount.We are locals but will now not go back.

Oh my god, people have raved about this takeaway for a long time, and itâs up again stiff competition in the village, with the red rose, a well recognised quality restaurant, but let me tell you, the food from the Runa was the best Iâve eaten in at least 10 years, everything was spot-on, succulent chicken tikka , soft waxy Bombay potato, wonderful onion bhajis! The whole meal was a triumph! But it started with the phone being answered with a very polite and courteous gentlemen, ending up with the driver delivering as polite!! I wonât be going anywhere else thatâs for sure!

I visited this Indian restaurant tonight and was most impressed by the warm welcome, attentive staff and excellence of the cuisine. The prices were very reasonable.The choice on the menu was extensive and the service attentive but unobtrusive.The meal was excellent and portions generous.It was probably the best Indian meal I have been served. The owner Harry was circulating amongst his customers to ensure all were happy with their meals but was not at all intrusive, simply checking that all was well.I cannot recommend this restaurant too highly,go try it and you will not be disappointed.

Thank you so much for arranging a wonderful lunch for my brother's wedding celebration.Ralph met with us before to discuss our requirements and really went out of his way to accommodate our requests.On the day of our lunch, Nacito and Sheldon provided us with a great service. We had a private seating area for our 24 guests. The food was perfect, the presentation beautiful and the service outstanding! All our guests really enjoyed it. A beautifully appointed restaurant; we especially appreciated the crisp white linen tablecloths and napkins. Friendly, prompt and efficient service, pleasant ambience; an extensive menu including a good selection of vegetarian dishes; generous servings, moderately priced and everything freshly cooked to order. Authentic Indian food at its best!The only drawback is the location, on a busy crossroads with no parking outside. You might have to fight your way across the road! Certainly not wheelchair friendly. As they are very popular as a take-away, this could present a problem - but do try this place. The food is well worth it!

This was one of our favourite places however after the last visit, we won't be going anymore. I don't know what's happened. It was never very cheap but the food was always good and we felt it was worthwhile. However, not this time. When our curries arrived, couldn't believe how small they were! Normally we'd have 2 naans, one rice between us and a curry each and it was enough. We were still hungry. And the curries were just ordinary., at best The naan bread was also small and somewhat burnt - more than it should be. Since when do they charge so much for a few dips for the poppadoms? We didn't ask for them and hardly touched them and were charged! The atmosphere was not good and we felt somewhat ripped off when we left. Such a shame. Ate here tonight (Wed 23 Oct 2019). We live 4 miles away so eaten here many times. It was very disappointing tonight. The chicken in the main course tasted very old... very hard to eat/bite.Haweli in West Byfleet is a more consistent standard. RPG is not as good as a few years ago. Shame.

It was a great experience in this restaurant this evening. Very friendly staff with efficient service and welcoming attitude.Atmosphere in the restaurant is nice which give you fresh feeling.Food is tasty and upto the mark. Not very pricy. I had high hopes having read the TA reviews and being so highly rated.I was a bit disappointed to be honest. There was nothing wrong with it but i wouldn't return which is the acid test.The food was decent without being great - green chicken and a duck dish. A side of cauli was very good and the naan a bit doughy, We we served by two waiters - once a very smiley person. The second rarely have eye contact nor smiled. He also reached over our table to retrieve dishes - when he should have stepped aside and done so - which is the correct etiquette.I am working in the area again soon - and I had hoped to return to this restaurant - but won't be which is a shame,Note - it's a small restaurant so it's advisable to book. We booked - but weren't asked if we had booked,
