I've been to this restaurant several times. The people who work there are very friendly and attentive. They actually replenish the water, instead of making you suffer with thirst like...all the other restaurants in France. The food is tasty and well cooked, the kids do not complain, the place is warm in winter, and the interior is clean, if a little shabby.

This place has delicious Poulet Biryani and Raita. The staff is very courteous and speak above conversational English. The atmosphere is very pleasant. I had the Kufki Pistache for dessert and it was like butter! I will likely return here on my next trip to the Clamart area.

I never expect Indian restaurants abroad to be the same as UK, as they cater for local tastes, which in France can mean quite mild or bland. Each time I went I had poppadoms & pickles which were good. I had the onion bhajia starter which resembled onion rings. I had chicken vindaloo, and was asked whether I wanted it "UK hot", which I did. When it arrived it was not bad, not very hot, which I wasn't bothered about, but it had as much potato in as it did chicken. The Pillau rice was OK, but rather "sticky", a good portion size nevertheless. The second time I went I had the Tikka Chicken starter which was very nice, followed by the Tikka Chicken Massala, again "UK hot". This was very nice, much nicer than the vindaloo. I had Basmati rice this time, which was better than the Pillau rice as well. A nice paratha with both meals & a couple of Kingfishers made it a very pleasant evening.

Found this restaurant on tripadvisor while travelling towards our holiday destination. it was late at night and the restaurant stays open until late.The high rating is definitely deserved, very diverse menu with good service, the owner went out of his way to answer our questions on where to sleep.Very good combination of herbs and spices for the dishes, highly recommended.
