When the guy at the door brings you in by being friendly but the food keeps you coming back. I like my food extra hot and he likes it less so, both are catered for without an issue. This is the one and only place we ate in where we were remembered, how we liked our curries and weather we drank wine or beer. For the food snobs, well they are never happy, but for us, this place not only met our expectations, they exceeded it.

The friendly staff alone makes me wanting to keep on coming back! The authentic food cannot be prepared better. Every meal is cooked to order and to perfection. Mine was the chicken Madras and my wife took the saag chicken. Finished off with Indian milk spice tea. Delicious. Stop by, you will love it.

Came here as a group of 4 adults and two children. Cannot fault it. Curries were suburb and the chicken was lovely. Starters and popadoms/pickles were tasty. Even the beers come in frozen glasses which is always a winner for me! Thanks again for a superb meal!

Hello and welcome you all on our page, Haweli O Indiano is located in the hearts of Praia do Carvoeiro, Haweli offers dishes from North of India (Punjab). Like we say "Just name it and we'll make it "
We always have a fantastic meal at Haweli! The staff are friendly, efficient and attentive. The food is delicious and well priced and the restaurant itself is really nice, with seating inside and outside. Definitely the best Indian in Carvoeiro, I strongly recommend it. âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸Thank you so much

We were taken here by friends who know it well, having reserved a table by the window, with fantastic views across the beach and sea.Drinks ordered with popadoms and samosas, for starters. Then a range of curries with pilau rice and naan. Portion size was just right and the curries appropriately spicy. Finished with coffees. We were never rushed by the staff, who were attentive but not interfering. A perfect evening. Definitely somewhere to revisit.

Pashmina takes you on an Indian culinary journey showing a vibrant, modern and progressive cuisine with trained chefs from India and great services.
It was out turn to organise food for our villa (about 12 family members in total), so we ordered this Indian restaurant to deliver. It came at exactly the time they said it would, everything was there for such a big order, and the food was lovely and warm. A little on the spicy side compared to some of the other Indian restaurants in the region, but still very nice. A little expensive, but wasnât too bad price wise, about â¬150ish to feed 12 of us.

I was told this was the best Indian restaurant in Carvoeiro and though I didn't visit any others to quantify this statement, I can say that Paradise Indian was very good indeed. It is on the main drag through town so I imagine it can get a lot busier than it was when I was there - just at the very beginning of the season, however there was ample seating both inside and outside, so I imagine you'd always have a fair chance of getting a seat.As far as the food is concerned it was very good. Comparable with some of the better Indians in Nottingham (with the exception of Haveli in Chilwell) and the service was very efficient. Again, I imagine this is in no small part down to the fact that we were pretty much the only customers.I am a coward when it comes to Indian food and always order a korma. They did not let me down, and made me a lovely spice-free, creamy korma that went down a treat. The dishes ordered amongst our group were varied and yet everyone seemed very happy with their meal. The prices were about what you would expect from an Indian in a tourist destination - by no means excessive. The decor was a little dark, but then I find most Indian restaurants tend to go for dark interiors for some reason. I don't know if anyone else has noticed that? When was the last time you saw a light, airy Indian restaurant?If/when I return to Carvoeiro, I will make a note to return here. It was decent.

Established in 2015, we are a family run restaurant serving authentic Nepalese & Indian cuisine. Our menu has been designed very carefully using freshest of the ingredients & home ground spices (on the premises) which represents the true flavours of Nepal
We visited Gurkha Kitchen on our last night at Carvoeiro and we couldn't have had a better choice! The food was amazing , autentic and felt like the "real thing". The service and the attention to details amplifed our experience. We are always looking for indian-like restaurants where ever we travel to, and i can honestly say that this restaurant is one of the best of its kind world wide. The lentil soup was so delicious , like a forgoten taste that reveled itself again - a dish to dream of. Defenitly a place to come back to.
