We are new to the area and wanted to try some of the local restaurants. Being a Friday night, curry seemed liked a great option. My husband had lamb rogenjosh and I had the butter chicken. The portion sizes were average, you had to buy rice separately, but the flavours were absolutely delicious. The naan was freshly made and absolutely delicious.

Ordered takeaway and the food was exceptional, I think I've fallen in love with India and of course Indian Food. Not too many places have the takeaway matching that the same quality of the restaurant meals but here it was absolutely amazing (I'm running out of superlatives and adjectives to describe just how wonderful the food was) I ordered the Lamb Chops Tandoori(4 pcs)Spring Lamb chops maintained in delicate spices and cooked in the Tandoori oven, Guaranteed to melt in your mouth as an entree (and it was a decent sized entree, easily enough for two people)I ordered the Beef KormaDiced beef marinated with cashew nut sauce and cream, and then blended in a mild cashew nut sauce which was just as amazing. The absolute flavours just blew me away, hence, I'm in love with India and of course now Indian food.Thank you for an amazing meal. I'm new to Indian food but that's about to change.

Before Christmas while we were on our holiday trip to Burnie, a beautiful coastal city of Tasmania, we stepped in Udai Palace, a marvellous Indian restaurant with traditional delicacies of Indian food in a friendly environment. We tasted most of the menu. The food was delicious and the staff were incredibly warm and friendly. Right as we were about to leave the Chef surprised us with two amazing desserts. This restaurant has been going forever and it's obvious that the chef Trilok is absolutely passionate about his food and his restaurant. Definitely recommended !
