Best value quality Samosa both veg and meat served with onion sauce .Large tasty almost always freshly cooke and still warm when served,. very reasonably priced .Well frequented by the local community .Only problem there is not much parking available .A large selection of Asian sweets are also available and look very appetising but as I have diabetics in the family have had to resist them Food purchased can be eaten inside the shop at purpose built counters

Great 'starters', rice and breads (Naan etc) but main course .. Fabulous spice blend and taste .. but, really, Lamb portions were 'rubbery' (chewy) this not being similar in local competition (although the spice blend is much better here!)Not been here for a while and, in reality, wouldn't rush back .. Good, but not good enough, sorry x

I came here after-work with some friends and let me tell you I was not impressed. There were more flies in the restaurant than customers, the staff were very lazy and seemed as tho they didn't want us there.Didn't feel welcome at all and was very expensive for what we had. Definitely will not be back and wouldn't recommend at all.

Went for a meal with my girlfriends parents and the Salaboti was the best curry Iâve ever had, full of flavour and so tasty. It was so good I took my parents back for a meal and had the same. Very clean , staff quick, efficient and friendly. We preferred sitting in the booths as itâs a bit noisy in the open area, especially on a Saturday night.

Visited at 19.30 on a Monday. We were one of only 2 tables. The service was great. Fantastic VIP menu Sun-Thu £10.95. Poppadom and chutney. Starter, main with a side. Samosa was disappointing not at all spicy. Both mains were brilliant. Weâll be back.

Facilities-no cloakroom or hanging rail. Coats over back of seats so wet from rain & dragging on floor.Screaming children running round ignored by mothers. No staff intervention.Appalling service.Chicken tikka so salty as to be virtually inedible.Worse poppadoms ever. Stale and tasteless.Chicken in koorma not marinaded so tasteless chunks in excellent sauce. No deserts.Overpriced drinks.Won't be returning.

I have been here a number of times over a 15 year period. The food has always been great, and when we visited midweek in September, it was mobbed, so it remains stunningly popular. There were no issues with the food, and I don't need obsequious staff, but there was virtually no interaction. No one asked if we would like more drinks, no one enquired if the meal was satisfactory. The waiter who cleared our table smelt strongly of cigarette smoke; he'd obviously just returned from a break. The dessert menu was placed on the table upside down. Perhaps this is irrelevant, but it shows a certain disinterest. Although just after 10pm when we finished the meal, it was clear the staff wanted us to leave.I was minded to award four stars, but it is clear from reading other reviews that the service has deteriorated, and that if any effort has been expended in improving customer service, it has not yet had any effect.But.......It was really busy on a midweek night, so perhaps we were unlucky.

Having done a quick search on trip advisor and visiting Blackburn for the evening we fancied a nice curry and starters. The place is nice with lovely decor and the waiters were excellent even though they were very busy for a Tuesday they were very attentive. We ordered the Achari chicken and some starters, the starters were nice but the achari chicken wasnât to my taste or my familyâs it just felt something was missing in the spices.

Authentic Kerala Cuisine
Recommended by a friend, been twice in a month. Not a posh place (thankfully), an authentic menu and nice service. The food was really tasty. Portion size - just enough. Highly recommended.
