We have now visited all the Akbar branches apart from Bradford. The food is consistently good. The daal was a little on the sweet side but we were warned by the waiter. Service was very good. It did not disappoint. The kids enjoyed the food.

Iâve always came to Moja as itâs the best curry around. but lately itâs not the same I thought Iâd try a chicken tikka masala for a change well..... I always thought it was to suppose to have chunks of chicken tikka ? nope it was sliced the masala tasted like tomato soup the keema Nan had a spread of meat in it so I wasnât to pleased so now Iâve found another top Indian sorry moja youâve lost my custom

Although I live in Billingham I have not used Shalimar for ages! Tonight I just fancied a cheeky little Indian as I was in my own looking after my granddaughter. Onion Bahji followed by Shalimar special & a plane naan. Very nice food, good portions and well cooked. The chicken tikka pieces were lovely ,very tender. I wonât leave it so long next time.

Been coming here for years.. Our son, now 4 year old loves it, he always asks for mixed kebab starter. Recently I recalled a dish I used to enjoy at other restaurants called Lamb Channa Korai.. basically Lamb with chickpeas in a rich sauce, served in a hot korai.. the waiter was kind enough to ask the chef to make it for me, and it was fabulous.. the lamb was very tender indeed.. this restaurant is very friendly, clean and accommodating

Creating a growing buzz since its opening in May 2014, Vadah Restaurant situated by the Riverside in Stockton re-creates traditional Indian cooking with a twenty-first century twist. Vadah serves authentic Indian food, brilliantly presented, with breath-t
If you like authentic Indian food, in a place that is buzzing and packed with people even on a Tuesday night, and love great service, then look no further than the Vadah!Four of us decided late in the evening (8pm) to look for somewhere to eat and the Vadah was the closest to where we were. We gave them a call and they said there would be a table within 20 mins - we arrived a few mins later and a table became available in only 5 mins - and we were seated and ready to be served in less than 10!The staff are super friendly and very professional and efficient.I was keen to have the hottest curry on the menu as I have built up a huge tolerance to spicy food over the years and crave a well made, spicy curry, but the waiter was not sure I knew what I was letting myself in for and, quite rightly, was a little worried that I wasn't just another - come on - bring me the hottest thing you have - only to have me leave in an ambulance! However, I think I managed to convince them as I had the king prawn biryani extra extra extra hot - it came and was a much deeper red than my mum's 'just a little spicy' version. It was super delicious and yes, my mouth was very warm - but the next time I go, I am hoping they will concede and go that extra bit spicier :)I really cannot fault this restaurant at all and will definitely be back for another visit then next time I am in town!Cheers guys!
