Saffron Indian Grill offers a taste of Indian street food as well as classic and modern takes on regional cuisine. For lunch enjoy an Indian Thali, round tray with small bowls filled with appetizer, entrees, salad, rice, bread and dessert or a lighter tak
Tewksbury/Andover/Lowell have a lot of high-tech workers (code for Asian/South Asian) so it should be no surprise that there are some pretty good Indian/Pakistani restaurants in the area.Add Saffron to the list.On the advice of my colleague, I went with the Thali (I tend to go heavy on lamb and naan, as anyone who has ever read more than a couple of my restaurant reviews would know), and it was much less filling than when I descend on a buffet. I asked for "Indian hot" and while it was hot, it could have been hotter without obscuring the nice flavors.Wish lamb had been one of the options for the Thali! Thanks for your kind words and feedback. The chef chooses the entree items for the lunch thali daily and includes lamb one or two days a week. We'll try to make it hotter next time.

I placed a delivery order via the food delivery app. The food was delivered as requested, without any items missing. The food was delivered in 30 minutes of when I placed the order (I live within 2 miles, so that is an advantage too) and it was piping hot! A lot of times the food gets cold by the time it is delivered, but not when it is made by IndianStyle. I could tell that the food was freshly made to order. The paneer tikka masala was delicious and so was the Aloo Parantha. I will, however, not say good things about Makki Ki Roti. It was more on the dry side and I don't think i will order it again. Makki ki Roti is very tricky to make and is the main reason why most of the restaurants in India don't have it on the menu. Nothing can beat home made Makki ki Roti prepared by mum :-)Otherwise, the customer service and food was great and the prices are just right. I requested the food be made spicy and I am so happy they obliged. A little bit of heat elevates the flavor level, IMO.Can't wait to try more dishes! So glad to finally have an Indian restaurant in my town :)

The festival of Holi is celebrated with color, with music and with dancing all day long. As the celebration winds down, the people go to homes and halls to feast on savory and sweet flavors that rival the colors and sounds and emotions of the festival. We
My wife and I visited this restaurant for lunch buffet on a weekend. This place is amazing, immaculately maintained. Lunch buffet ($12) prices are reasonable. Buffet lineup is also good, each food item we tasted was super delicious with perfectly balanced flavored! Each customer gets a option for naan or garlic butter naan. We picked garlic butter naan and it was freshly prepared and hot! Masala tea was flawless. Staff is caring and professional. This is our new place to eat in Bedford. Definitely recommend Holi who carve for Authentic Indian food!
