Close to the traffic circle and the Clocktower, Cypress is not that well known to westerners. I enjoyed the atmosphere, and the food was fine. Service was a little slow, but very friendly.

Our tour operator took our group out for dinner to this restaurant. This is a fusion cuisine restaurant, and we all enjoyed the great service and delicious food. As the vegetarians, we loved momos, veggie balls Manchurian souse, jeera rice, salad, pasta. Our friends enjoyed non-veg food and local beer.Again, all food was so delicious! Plan to eat here while you are in Thimpu.

Probably the first place and newest place in Paro Town whee you can enjoy live music, Fresh Tap beer and ofcourse food! Live music is the main highlight.
Location : It is very close to the stadiun. Easily approachable. Inside : By the looks you will feel that you entered in a Indian Coffee House. Simple sitting no decoration...Food : Being Veg , we ordered Dal Makhni, Alloo Dopyaza , Butter Paneer Masala and Tawa rotis. The size of the roti is quite big so order less and them order more if needed to avoid wasyage of food.In Bhutan 90â times you wont get the good Indian food. You go to any restaurant, tney will offer you full Ik indian Menu. But taste and preparation wise the food you will find horrible.Surprisingly, all the dish had authentic Indian taste amd all of us enjoyed the dinner .Definitely recommend this restaurant to others.

Definitely try this place for authentic Bhutanese cuisine, great taste and hospitality at decent prices. The serving size is good for 2-3 people, and best part, if you are solo, you could order half portions at half prices.Tried the Ema Datshi with Red rice!!! And they made it with less spicy peppers as I asked, perfect for me to experience the traditional datshi. The view of the mountains and the river is unique, not many restaurants around are able to offer this scenic view. Thereâs also a good collection of books and illustrative magazines on Bhutan. Yes this place offers excellent food and moreover a genuine Bhutanese experience.

First of all it's not just a restaurant, it has a lot of rooms to stay for and too very good ones.I had visited Bhutan in the month of December.and I found this hotel right on the main lane i.e. Norzim La.The entry of the hotel is not that Grand and alluring but the rooms are clean and wooden floored which you need basically in winters. Also the heater worked pretty well.and most important thing was that it servesa very good indian vegetarian food which was very helpful for me as I am a pure vegetarian.According to the prices a very good value for money.

This is quite smart restaurant in the middle of the city. The decor is very neat and tidy and thre is a pleasant and friendly feel about the place. I noticed that there were locals eating there, not just foreigners, which is aleways a good sign. The service was very good, friendly and helpful. The food was a mixture of local and other more westernised dishes. Everything we had was tasty and really enjoyable.Prices were reasonable for a good quality place.Well reommended.

Watch out for this family run restaurant on the main street of Paro. It is very easy to miss as it is on the first floor level. The boneless chicken with burnt garlic rice is one of their signature dishes. The pork and chicken momo's are among the best we've had. The Hentsey Datshi (spinach in cheese and chilly) too was delicious. I would very strongly recommend this cozy restaurant for anyone looking for tasty local food. The owner herself gave us helpful suggestions in deciding our menu.
