I went there with my hubby on Valentineâs Day and had dinner. They were extremely busy but we got table set for us in few minutes. We ordered chicken tikka kebab and rack of lamb. Both taste really good. Our server was really nice too.

The customer service was very good. We ordered dosas, and were pleased with the quality and taste. However, all the non vegetarian dishes were not good. The chicken tasted chewy and overcooked. Also, the spices were not cooked in properly. It appears better suited for south indian dishes.

Serving Delicious Indian Food In Bellevue Since 1993. Great Lunch Buffet, Take Outs and Catering Available. India Gate in the Eastgate area of Bellevue has been a popular destination for Indian food lovers since 1993, when the restaurant first started. Th
Staying nearby, I walked into this restaurant and should have recognized that with only one table occupied, this might be a sign of the restaurant quality. Dinner is serve only off the menu, and everything is its own dish. The chicken soup was a thin dal with a half a dozen pieces of diced chicken in it, and the tandoori chicken, certainly an Indian restaurant staple, seemed to have been cooked earlier and then reheated, perhaps more than once. There were no sides, and a saag paneer is served only as an entree at $8.00, so I passed on the vegetables!! From the time they took my order until I left the restaurant, the only time I saw a server was when he dropped the platters off at the table.

We have been to many Indian restaurants on the Eastsidr and like this one the best. Why? Delicious food. Everything we tried in the extensive buffet was excellent. Chicken was tender and moist - not dry. Curry was mild and tasty. Cole slaw was perfect and there was very good salad with fruit. Vegetarian selections were as extensive as the non-vegetarian. Naan was provided in a basket hot and just out of the oven. Rice pudding was the best I have had in an Indian restaurant. Service was excellent with water glasses filled and naan replenished. The owner talked with us and was most charming and entertaining. We even liked their selection on the sound system.
