This was the most tasteful, flavorful food I've had in years. Even if you've never tried Indian food before, make it a point to go here--you won't be disappointed. Entrees range from mild to hot, but the heat doesn't overpower the spices and taste. It was our first time there are we are HOOKED!! Can't wait to go back.

We went for the weekend lunch buffet. The food was very good, staff was friendly, dining rooms were nice. The entry to the dining area is somewhat sketchy and not easy to access. The entry door is in BAD need of a cleaning and paint job, giving a guest some apprehensions. Other than that, the only other negative is the price for a lunch buffet at $17. is a bit high for the Poconos.

Casual Indian Restaurant with dine in, take out and delivery options.
I was in POCONOS with my family spending a weekend in watee park. Driving around, we found this little Indian restaurant in a strip mall on Rt. 611. We decided to stop in for an early dinner on Saturday night. We made a great choice. The restaurant is very small, yet very casual and clean. The host was a young Indian man (probably in his Thirties ). He welcomed us with a smile and took us to our table. Dining sit down are has about 8 tables with total seatinf for 25 people. They have a great varieties of appetizers, both Non veg, Vegetarian and Vegan and things made in Tandoor (clay oven). We ordered Chana Bhatura and Gobi Manchurian for our appetizers as my family is vegetarian. Both came out freshly prepared and quickly. Our kids and us thoroughly enjoyed them. We had mustard green (Sarson ka saag) and Kadai Paneer (cottage cheese finished in Onion and peppers)....Both were great choices. All entrees come with complementary side of white rice. We had Naan bread cooked in Tandoor. Soft and fresh. The hot/waiter constantly checked on us, but also courteous enough to leave our table for us to enjoy our meals.Overall, a great night out at a very reasonably priced Indian restaurant in Pocono/Tannersville areaa. If you are in Poconos, Give this a try. You won't be disappointed. Onlyy ine thing, It might be difficult to find. It is located in a strip mall diagonally actoss from Dairy Queen / DQ Grill. Another landmark is that it is in the complexr next ro Friendlys Restaurant. The restaurant has a side entrance next to a Chinese restaurant. Good Luck Veda Grill - We will be back to try more of your Indian food!!!!
