Indian Restaurant serving North Indian, South Indian, Hyderabadi Biryanis as well as Indo-Chinese delicious foods.
There is nothing better, in my opinion, than a really good restaurant literally sharing a building with a market that sells many of the ingredients for what you are enjoying. This building has been no fewer than 6 restaurants in the past few decades, and it's centrally located on Route 9, but having a market with the restaurant is a genius idea. Service is excellent, portions are large (my friend ordered the goat biryani and had to bring 2/3 home). Of course I am such a dork, I forgot which of the many chicken dishes I ordered, only that I really enjoyed it (next time I'll have to order a few to figure which it was). The one drawback was that there are several TVs which is not a problem in and of itself, but they were all different videos which is super distracting for me.

I'm not sure who created the design for the exterior, with a bright yellow awning, and a storefront that looks like a tiny diner. Ignore that, and go inside. The food is nicely prepared, a good value, and the service is fine.We have not been disappointed in anything we have ordered. Give it a try!

We had lunch with our co-workers from India in this place. Nothing special: mediocre Indian buffet, very tepid welcome, waiters serving you with a sour face, bare walls interior. If you have been to India, do not waste your time patronizing this low level establishment: you will be disappointed. The worst part of it that my clothing smelled like Indian food after our visit and had to be washed and dry cleaned - the nasty smell just did not go away.

The star here is chicken karahi which is justifiably famous. Get it on the bone for the best flavor. This dish comes garnished with ginger, Indian green pepper, and cilantro. The curry is a little thicker than typical Indian curry. Delicious! The lentil soup is very good and the other dishes are solid. Do not miss the Karahi!

This unassuming little restaurant in the side of Route 9 produces a very tasty range of high quality Punjabi dishes. I have sampled many of them over the years and they are all good. It seems amazing that something simple like a tomato soup can be turned into such a taste treat with expert use of Indian spices. If you want spicy hot, just ask; you can also ask for authentic âvery hotâ (my preference) but this is not for the faint of heart! Service is always excellent.

We had lunch and tried a variety of food. They were all great. Food was tasty and great service. Based on that we catered lunch for 25 people and it was outstanding. I would highly recommend Dosa Temple.
