Our family of 3 dined here mid-week during our overnight stop in Alstonville on a trip to Brisbane. The food lived up to the previous reviews and was delivered in a timely manner along with friendly and helpful service. The restaurant is BYO with a small charge for corkage. Basic decor and comfortable. Good for eat-in or takeaway. Certainly worth a visit.

Comfortably seated whilst watching Bollywood film clips we ordered from a very extensive menu.I would have given 5 stars however we did wait a little long for our meals.We took BYO and were only charged $3 corkage which was very fair.The mixed entree platter was delicious, the Samosa pastry was the best pastry I had tasted anywhere, ever.Our mains were Lamb Masala/Ginger a reccommendation of the owner that was superb and Butter Chicken with steamed rice.The Butter Chicken was very good, a little on the sweeter side.The stuffed Naan with potato and onion also delicious.For a local no fuss about dressing up place to eat out I loved this restaurant and will definately return.Re the previous review neither of our meals were soaking in sauce and the meat serving sizes were extremely generous. Go.

Second visit here,very much enjoyed the first,so gave it a another try.Really good authentic India food , great flavours and a very good menu to choose from , service was quick and itâs really excellent value.. if you like Indian food ... give it a try.

I ate here last week with work colleagues and the food was fantastic. Authentic dishes with great flavours and spice. Good size portions and polite and friendly service. You can also BYO wine. They do sell it but they were happy for us to drink our own. I will be back!
