We had dinner here last week. It is not exactly a walk in restaurant but a home stay with excellent I house cooking skills. They cooked especially for us.. Lucky us! Such a lovely family and the food was absolutely amazing. Remember to look this place up when you are in the area, definitely worth it!

Had a few days in alleppey and visited here twice. Would highly recommend. The food was fantastic and reasonable choice. Very clean and the staff were friendly and efficient. Good location and plenty of seating. Canât fault the food whatsoever which is why we visited twice. Many thanks

Clean, quick service and full of locals. Can't beat this place for good quality cheap veg food. I don't believe a couple of comments here. I've been veg for 35 years and I come to Kerala for the food. Less than 100 rps for delicious masala dosa, soft drink and coffee! What's not to like?

We have ordered Mutton curry - Poor Prawn fry - good Fried rice - worts Duck Mappas - worst Here you can get an average food followed by very slow services in good ambience. Staff are good and pleasant but I donât recommend this place to anyone for yummy food .

When we entered the restaurant we were asked to give a tip before we'd even sat down. The waiter said 'Good food - big tip!'We ordered a couple of lassi drinks and some food, and we waited ages and were treated with impatience and waving arms when we enquired when the food would arrive. We eventually got the drinks but they were undrinkable as they were full of hard raw sour papaya! We gave up waiting for the food after 50 mins and went elsewhere.

The Cafe Catamaran was situtaed a minute from the place we stayed at and we spent quite a bit of time there in our 4 days in Alappuzha. The staff are really friendly and welcoming and the place is situated right on the beach. It is frequentd by both tourists and locals. The food is varied, fresh fish, pasta, noodles and Indian dishes. I particularly liked the chicken Kadai, which was full of flavour. Lots of veggie options as well. There is a nice crowd there in the evenings and a chiiled atmosphere. A great palce to hang out.
