Lovely terrace spot to watch people on the Main Street (20 meters away), I had a very refreshing and tasty cold peach soup to start and grilled ewes cheese with salad, which I would also not hesitate to recommend. The waiter was helpful in discussing the options and friendly throughout.

This restaurant belongs to City Hotel Miskolc and is in the basement. We stayed in the hotel and had dinner in the restaurant. We did not expect the quality and versatility of the foods and the kindness of the service. We were really satisfied. The foods are mostly Hungarian but they also have international food, also the extras to go with them, it is possible to have individual meals, and all all in all dining here was a very satisfying experience.

The decoration of the restaurant and the presentation of the food itself was really cool. On the other hand, the taste wasn't something special. I had bigger expectations from a place that has a more gourmet character. Serving small and expensive portions of food, requires to balance it with really great taste experience. Which never happened. But at least the waiters did their best by being friendly and serve everything quickly. Perhaps, there are other dishes in the menu which are better executed, than the ones I got.That's why I leave the 4-star feedback, instead of 3..

Food is honest, tasty and truly Hungarian.Excellent fish soup (halászlé)! The dish is part of the national heritage, especially around Christmas time. This place definitely knows how to make it well, so totally recommend. There is a range of different types, so ask your waiter for advice (e.g. which one has no bones etc.).For main, I had a traditional vegyes halpaprikás (something like chicken paprikash but made of local fish) with túrós csusza (noodles with savoury mild fresh cheese). It was also very tasty and I can only recommend this.My girlfriend had some honey-roast pork with potatoes. I thought the dish had too much honey in it, so this could improve, however she liked it together with the potatoes.The area is quiet and friendly, the restaurant is cozy and service is polite and kind.

We regularly visit this restaurant, but by the last few occassions the service time was very, very long. Sometimes it takes 60 minutes or longer to have the first course and the following courses take as long time to have. Despite the very good food quality and wide range of pancakeks we had to rarefy our visits, because for our children this long wait is not acceptable. The staff always polite and helpful, but the kitchen is massively overloaded.Thank you for the evaluation, and sorry for the incionvenience, but we do hope we can present you the Creppy experience in the future.
