This glass-walled bistro is on the top floor of Pointe-a-Calliere, the Montreal museum of archeology and history. Overlooking the Old Port, it is open only for lunch, and reservations are required.My wife and I opted for the L'Express menu, with just two choices, a salad, or a soup and a sandwich. The latter was grilled cheese, made with Quebec Sauvagine cheese, bacon pieces, and onion,apple,maple jam! The soup was a seasonal pumpkin, and the meal included french fries and a small green salad, all for $12.95!The other option was a three course table d'hote.There was a good choice of wines by the glass, at fair prices. Service was faultless.

We went for dinner, party of 4, and sat on the terrace at the La Montagne restaurant, it was so nice ! Service was excellent, very attentive and fun. Food was great, especially the quinoa balls and the crème brûlée. All vegan, all delicious ! Will be back for sure !Hello, Thank you very much for your visit! Beautiful restaurant housed in an historic building - gorgeous and impressive⦠We ordered the tapas plate that included sardines, shrimps, calamari and chorizo⦠it was excellent! You must dip your bread in this aromatic oil⦠oh so good! We both had fish - the salmon was a little disappointing - the cod was a lot better and their fries are fantastic! It would be a shame if you donât have their traditional pastel de Nata - warm and crispy - Superb! The service was attentive and friendly which made our evening memorable.Thank you so much for the great review! A very pleasant surprise. I was greeted by the owner a very sweet lady, who was cheerful and very gracious. I had their lunch special$10, a delicious vietnamese soup, spring roll and a bahn mi sandwich. Great little find worth the detour.We're very happy you like our restaurant!
