We thought we were miles from any kind of watering hole when we cycled past this place which you could almost miss. We stopped and went back to the small wooden sign, and realised it was a garden cafe to the side of a small house. Lovely fresh cake and a very small range of snacks and drinks, but sitting in an almost magical garden with just a few tables shaded from the sun and a loverly serene atmosphere. I wouldn't say go out of your way to go here, but that you really should plan to stop here if you are passing! Only open in the Summer months, and not every day.

Plein 7 enjoys one of the best locations in Woerden; nestled in the town center on the square, this modern venue with high vaulted ceilings and sleek décor is an attractive place in which to eat. The menu is straightforward Dutch café food. The fish soup is a must try as it was the best Ive ever eaten - creamy, fresh, tangy... perfection
