YOU HAVE TO GO HERE!! The Yellow Deli is owned & run by the most lovely people. They have restored this gorgeous building and transformed it into an informal eatery which is so well looked after, one could eat off the floor. A varied menu & an option to build your own lunch cannot fail to please. The Chilli is fabulous but avoid eyes bigger than tummy syndrome! I ordered a bowl and a mug would probably have done! Do ask the history behind Yellow Deli. These charming, lovely people have an interesting story to tell. Make sure you try it soon!

This was our first visit to Sidmouth and we just happened to spot what looked like a tiny café in the gardens. As the rain clouds were looming, we decided to pop in for lunch. There was a good choice of sandwiches, quiche, soup etc., all freshly prepared and the staff were very welcoming. The downstairs was snug so when we heard the lady in front of us mention the view from upstairs, we decided to sit there. I should imagine the upstairs has been recently redecorated as it looks brand new and it is really cute. From where I was sitting, I had views across the sea in two directions. Our sandwiches were delicious with very generous fillings and came with a small salad and crisps. If we had been staying longer, I would have loved to return and try one of the amazing cakes on display - definitely of the 'one slice, 2 forks' variety.Your Tripadvisor name is obviously very well suited and we are glad you "enjoyed life" with us! We are a locally run garden centre in Honiton, Devon that sell only the very best quality plants & our staff have over 80 years horticulture experience. We also have a restaurant that serves cakes, breakfasts and lunches using fresh, local food.

First time I have used the cafe/restaurant, what a lovely place, very clean and tidy, nice selection of drinks and cakes... have always used another local well known garden centre... but this is now firmly the favourite!Fab staff...
