Reviews on Healthy food in Nelson, South Island, New Zealand. Nelson’s thriving arts and music scene has helped to establish it as a destination for free spirits and art-lovers. Festivals, studios, galleries, craft markets… Every cranny of this South Island city seems to buzz with artistic energy. Lord of the Rings fans will flip for the Jens Hansen workshop in Trafalgar Square—Hansen is the goldsmith who designed the “precious” guarded by Frodo in the LOTR films.

One of my favourite restaurants where a consistantly high standard of food is served. Try the 500gm T Bone steak. Wow what a feed. My wife loves the Tai green curry. Great staff who go out of their way to make sure you have a great night.

My wife, daughter & I tried Bobby Franks for the time Sunday 3 Feb. highly recommended: good vege options for breakfast & innovative takes on coffee. Nice decor and friendly but not âin your faceâ staff. Weâll be back there .

We had visitors from Europe who wanted to try a Hangi, we researched opening times and rang to confirm they would be open for lunch last Friday. the round trip was 4 hours but upon arriving we found the place closed. Why say you are open if your are not.Kia ora Friday the 4th we had to close at the last minute to assist our offsite crew with feeding the 22,000 people at Bay Dreams. This is the first time so keep your bad reviews for someone else thanks, it is called Manaakitanga. I was not informed that we could have someone in that had driven 2 hrs, we would have made an exception, the whole of Nelson has made exceptions this year for the mighty influx of people.
