Cafe serving breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea. Also vegetarian food and vegan cakes as well as gluten free cakes and bread
Iâve visited Saltwater twice, the first time I had the sausage sandwich and the other day I had the rollmop herring open sandwich. I couldnât fault the sausage sandwich and the rollmop herring was outstanding - served with beetroot humus, pickles and salad on perfectly toasted bread. The coffee was excellent and so was the service. Iâm looking forward to my next visit.thank you for your review, and we are glad you enjoyed your visit to ourselves

A friend and I met here for lunch. I am local but had never tried The Larder. We both chose the Roast Vegetable Tart which was hot and delicious. It came with a nicely dressed salad. The Larder has a nice atmosphere, away from the melee of the High Street. The only downside was having to eventually get up and ask for our table to be cleared and cleaned before we ate ...Thank you very much for your review and I am very pleased that you enjoyed your meal. I do apologise that you were left sitting at an uncleared and dirty table, and I have reiterated to the staff the importance of always making sure the tables are cleared and wiped down as soon as customers leave so I hope that this will not be the case when you, hopefully, next visit us.
