We ate there several times during our 3-week holiday, with parties of 5, 7 and even 14. The service is good, personal and friendly, especially "El Primo", one of the owners I assume, gives you the perfect service. Staff speaks french and english, menus in different languagues, etc. The menu for 22 Euro's is excellent with a good choice of different foods, also for children. We especially recommend the tuna tartar or grilled, grilled salmon, beef tataki, mushroom ravioli, grilled seabass. Good choice of wines and desserts. There is no hurry and you can keep your table the whole evening! If you want a very quick diner it is maybe better to go to a tapas bar... This has been our favorite restaurant since 2011, first time we visited l'Estartit and it has become even better. We will go there again in the coming years!

La Xula is a nice little restaurant in a small alley between the beach and the main pedestrian street. Good (semi at least) local wine and very honest food. The outdoor tables are in the shade of a big tree and the service is very forthcoming...I will definitely be back
