EXPENSIVE, limited offerings. NOT really what they hype it to be. Lots of items we found we out of date. Most everything else is frozen. Better off to travel to the FoodLand in Mauna Lani shops or better yet the market in Waimea.Thank you for your feedback. New photos of the current offerings are being uploaded as I type. We are often trying new things and so our Grab and Go food is often changing so we appreciate you pointing out the dated content.

Kawaihae is a very small little town, just up the road from the mega-resorts of the Kohala coast. We stopped by to pick up a bento box for lunch. The place is very small and there is really no seating. As the name states, this is a take-out facility. The cashier and chef were both friendly. The food is typical Hawaiian with influences from many cultures. Everything is made to order, so expect to wait for a few minutes until your order is ready. Definitely a fun place to get a quick and tasty lunch.

This is what âmade with loveâ means. Every component of the seemingly no-nonsense menu is painstakingly prepared. From the fermented accompaniments to the home brewed Kombucha, youâll really appreciate the passion that this husband and wife team puts into everything they prepare. Your body will appreciate you too.
