Reviews on Healthy food in Gijon, Asturias, Spain. This port city of about 275,000 on Spain’s north coast began 3,000 years ago as a fishing village. Today it’s a departure point for regional cruises, making it busy in summer (and making us wonder what those ancient fisherman would have thought of cruise ships). The original village, Cimadevilla, with its narrow, cobblestone streets, draws many tourists, and Cerro de Santa Catalina park at the tip of Cimadevilla’s peninsula provides great coastal views.

Lovely gem of a place, finally a lovely coffee shop that has a great view, plays lovely mellow music i.e. Norah Jones, chilled....beautiful breakfasts, even coconut vegan muffins. Great tapas in the evening. Staff are just wonderful. They even do Yoga every Sunday morning. Fab.

Mexican food 100% authentic. No reservations. Gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options. Homemade food.
Really friendly staff and delicious food. The spicy dish I ordered was properly spicy and not the usual light dusting of pseudo-spicy fare I have often encountered in Spain. Thanks for great lunch :-)

We were the only customers for a 2 PM lunch in this small 8 table pizza, salad only establishment. With a Spanish only menu it was a little difficult to figure out the ingredients but a patient and cheerful waitress & chef showed us rather than described what was what.We shared an excellent salad, an especially thin crust pizza and a 2 glasses of local wine. Fairly priced, off the beaten path and worth a visit if you have salad & pizza in mind.

No tourist will find this place without TripAdvisor, and I am not sure they wish advertisement. Local pub with 10 table restaurant. English communication is difficult and no menu (only fish). I just said fish menu and after confirmation of 35⬠price I agreed.I got a few starters and a main dish. asking for a glass of wine they put a bottle at my table (excellent Crianza). If you wish to have a romantic diner forget this place. Croudy, loud and I had a family with baby and kids next to me.by the way. I like espresso and theirs is great (travel a lot to italy)
