On a Lake Victoria peninsula, approximately 37 kilometres (23 mi) southwest of the Ugandan capital, Kampala, it was once the seat of government for the Protectorate of Uganda prior to independence, in 1962. Entebbe is the location of Entebbe International Airport, Uganda's largest commercial and military airport, best known for the dramatic rescue of 100 hostages kidnapped by the resistance group of the PFLP-EO and Revolutionary Cells (RZ) organizations. Entebbe is also the location of State House, the official office and residence of the President of Uganda.

Three of us had dinner here last week, the food was just above average, which was a shame as I have had coffee and cake here before which was excellent. Sitting outside with the lake flies and mosquitoes was okay, although prepare yourself to be bitten. The food needs some work.

WE LOVE THE ROLEX GUY!!!!! We often go to the Rolex Guy to hang out and eat their delicious Rolexes. They have a variety of flavours on their menu and lots of fresh and healthy juices and teas. Their Rolexes are the best Iâve had. I canât go anywhere else now! As well as all this, itâs a great hangout spot with friendly people. Fantastic place to unwind or kill a few hours. They have an abundance of games and travel information. Highly recommend - your trip to Entebbe isnât complete unless youâve been here!

This place needs a generator. I hope they get one soon.Without it, the first 3 items I tried to order could not be prepared because there was no power.Finally, I was able to order the pasta with spinach sauce, and it was pretty good. My friends who ordered meat and fish were very pleased.Selections were good for a vegetarian...except if there's no power. For an appetizer, we had the Mediterranean platter (I forget what they call it) with guacamole, tzatziki, humus, and olives. All delicious.The place is beautiful - we sat on the lawn. No lights except the lantern on our table.All in all, worth trying again on a night when Entebbe has electricity.
