Home-made South African bistro fare, presented in an arty setting... indoor restaurant with fireplace (cosy in winter, cool in summer!), and outdoor seating on patio overlooking magnificent Tsitsikamma mountains. Or go "Al fresco" on wooden benches on the
The burger was massive and amazing - potato wedges were some of the best I've ever had. My only issues are the menu (could do with less adjectives and banting propaganda in my opinion) and the crazy flashing lights outside. Apart from that, awesome experience. Thanks for nice review! .. will pass on your comments to the owner... Thank you!

Had read in a couple of places the food here was excellent though service a little slow - probably true but the service was also very friendly. Extensive menu with tonnes to choose from for veggies or vegans. I had a swordfish skewer which was really tasty. Only point I would make is the person who bought us our bottle of red wine, before I knew what he was doing, poured almost the whole thing into two glasses, almost full to the rim. We found amusing rather than anything else (but if the bottle of wine had been expensive I would have sent it back). Nice vibe and would eat here again.

A quaint restaurant and coffee shop situated right on the main route through the beautiful town of Cradock. We pride ourselves on excellent coffee and homemade soul food. A bakery where fresh artisan bread is available as well as a delicatessen section. T
Conflicted as it is a nice little haven in Cradock - truly it is a lovely place for lunch. However, was quite annoyed my very dry lamb burger lacked the promised hummus, cucumber and brioche bun as per the menu (instead very dry onions, lamb and Italian ciabatta bread with 2 bis of rocket salad). The french fries were truly amazing and the wine and coffee/chai drinks wonderful, but the lamb burger was so dry and lacked basically all the things explained on the menu - it just really put me off. I would strongly recommend mangement perhaps explain seasonal changes to the menu and more sauce as ciabatta is very dry. Equally, the hot drinks and wine menu is fantastic. The place is beautiful, staff friendly and cakes looked nice. Just have never eaten anywhere the item I ordered from a menu with a description was such a different variation to what I got. Thank you for your review, we appreciate the feedback. Your review means a lot to us and we've been looking into what could have caused such a disjointed experience in True Living. After some thorough investigation, we have concluded that you might have received a wrong order - which might explain the confusion. Our Grand Karoo sandwich consists of ciabatta bread, roasted onions, seared venison and rocket... while the lamb burger has the saucy pulled lamb, hummus, cucumber and brioche bun. It seems as if you may have received the Grand Karoo sandwich instead of the lamb burger! We apologize for the confusion and for the fact that you did not find the sandwich appealing - even if it were a mixed-up order, it should have been delicious. We wish you would have approached one of our waiters or the manager on duty so we could have had the opportunity to rectify the situation on the day but hope to see you again in future so you can have a real True Living experience. Sincerely, the True Living Team. X

Good for a typical breakfast, friendly staff. Rustic atmosphere, that serves good food. Not sure about the river part, as one would be expecting it to be next to a river or at least have a view. Nice little shop to look around in, in the premises.Dear 716trudisThank you for leaving us a review on your recent experience Graze and we are pleased you enjoyed your breakfast with us. As you said yourself we are not "next to" the river we are "Graze by the River" and we look forward to seeing you again, thank you

Steakhouse with cosy atmosphere excellent service and delicious high quality food. All Steaks are handpicked for best quality and cooked exactly as requested! Featured Wine Wall with wines from well-known South African wineries. Booking essential.
A small menu focused around meat. Beef, pork and game variety. This place is in an upcoming trendy area and therefore parking is in the hands of the street g-ds. Inside you treated to a small cosy bistro with three different rooms. Fair price for the meats and the steaks are always cooked to your satisfaction. This could be a nice romantic spot.

Muse offers relaxed fine dining. The focus is on reinventing and modernising classic comfort meals. Healthy well presented dishes with fresh ingredients.
This is my first review of Muse after visiting the restaurant a number of times. This restaurant is really a gem. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and wine pairings. They made sure that there were no potential food allergy issues. As for the food- it is amazing! My favourite is the short rib pasta, but you really can't go wrong with any of the other items on the menu. The chef even came out to make sure we were okay and enjoyed our meal. Will definitely be back time and time again.
