Caldas da Rainha (Portuguese pronunciation: [ˈkaɫdɐʒ ðɐ ʁɐˈiɲɐ]) is a medium-sized city in western central Portugal in the historical province of Estremadura and the district of Leiria. The city serves as the seat of the larger municipality of the same name and of the Comunidade Intermunicipal do Oeste (OesteCIM, Intermunicipal Community of the West). At the 2011 census, the municipality had a population of 51,729 in an area of 255.69 square kilometres (98.72 sq mi), with 27,378 residing in the city. Although the city itself lies about 10.5 kilometres (6.5 mi) inland, three of the municipality's civil parishes lie on the Atlantic Ocean. Caldas da Rainha is best known for its sulphurous hot springs and ceramic pottery.

This is a welcome addition to the pan-Asian Chinese Japanese buffets that dot the region with over-sweetened crunchy rice. Here, the sushi was very fresh and that is the most important thing. IT would be nice if there was a bit more variety, but it is brand new and I imagine that the menu will grow with the more diners. I was a little disappointed with the fried starters, The Tempura shrimp was not really the fluffy, crispy tempura that you would usually expect to find in a Japanese restaurant but rather just breaded and deep fried. Please go, it is a lovely room with very fresh fish and we will be back. Oh, and the Funky? THe music is wonderful soul music from the 70sHi Mambosalome,Thanks for your time, writing this review.Is always, but now more than important, to get a real feeling from our customers and their experience with us. Thats what will make us grow.Is also a fact that we are testing the Market, in order to improve the Menu. Last but not list, the Tempura. This is a great option if you want to eat out and also want to eat healthy food. The menu is original and has gluten free, vegan, vegetarian and sugar free options. They donât use refined sugar, coconut sugar is used in some the desserts. The staff are very friendly and happy to accommodate for picky eaters with off the menu options. The decor is modern and light. A great place to have lunch.

It´s a nice place, but we´re expecting more commitment with earth and ecological sustainability. It´s a good option for going out of traditional meals.Thank you so much for your visit! The main suppliers are from the fruit market, right next to our door, we recycle and abolish plastic straws, using only paper straws. More changes we will make in the future, but we think we are on the right track.We hope you come back soon! ;)
