Reviews on Healthy food in Bristol, England, United Kingdom. Bristol is a quirky British city with beautiful hilly vistas and plenty of historic sights to explore. Anyone interested in ships will have a blast aboard Brunel’s SS Great Britain, the world’s first great oceanliner, and the Matthew, a replica of the ship upon which John Cabot sailed to America in the 15th century. The graceful Clifton Suspension Bridge is another must-see.

We had dinner here on 12th October having driven from London to treat my mum for her birthday. From the moment we arrived the service was exceptional, attentive without being overbearing. The restaurant itself is nicely laid out and I'd say this was a great restaurant for a date as the lighting and ambience could be quite romantic. Everything we ate was delicious, highlights included the onion bhaji and the Halibut but really everything was lovely. Drinks were great too and they offered fab non-alcoholic alternatives. The staff are incredibly accommodating and have great knowledge about the menu. Overall this was a great experience which we will repeat.

Visited with a group on Friday night, our friends local favourite. Great food, everything that our table ordered was excellent. Fantastic vegan burger (Iâm a meat eater) and chips. Delicious tempura veg. Super nice owners and a very unique Star Trek themed bathroom.

Came here after reading the reviews of Trip Advisor. We werenât disappointed! The food was fabulous and staff were friendly and really welcoming... even gifting me a Buckâs Fizz for lending a phone charger to another customer! The food was delicious and had an excellent choice for vegetarians. We ordered Kadai Panner, Dal Makhini with rice and nann and finished off with Rasamalai (despite being stuffed... because we wanted to try it!) all were cooked to perfection and are highly recommended. We will definitely be back when we are in Bristol. Booking recommended via email or Phone! Bringing Sri Lankan street food to the UK. Experience an explosion of flavours in our vegetables, meats & fish along with sweet and fiery Cocotails... a naturally abundant vegan & vegetarian cuisine.
We had booked a table and would definitely recommend booking as the restaurant was very busy all evening. Staff recommended a number of dishes to order and were knowledgeable about the food on the menu, we found that they recommended way too much food and we ended up taking a lot home. Whilst the food was nice and some of the curry dishes were tasty, it was not very similar in many ways to Sri Lankan street food as it claims. In particular the Kottu was very disappointing. Also the rice was dry, bland and a relatively small portion given that it is often such a substantial part of a Sri Lankan meal. Overall it was a nice place to eat, something a bit different however if you are looking for authentic Sri Lankan street food this is not the place to go!Hi Danielle,Weâre sorry to hear that your experience with us wasnât anything other than 5 stars! We are a small group of Sri Lankan friends and family, blended with talent from Bristol and the UK. We are cooking our family recipes from back home (watched over by Granny Gerti, 82!). Our head chefs are all Sri Lankan born and owners of the business, so food is our anchor. We prepare and cook fresh daily. In terms of portion sizes - if it wasn't explained at the time, we serve our food in a small-plate style, similar to tapas. I'm sorry that the food wasn't up to scratch this time around!Overall it sounds like you had an enjoyable experience however which I am very glad to hear and I do hope we can welcome you back to TCT in the near future!

In Indian Rassasy we brings you the real taste of India with our experienced and qualified chefs. The restaurant provides the food according to the taste bud of the guest.
Thursday night visit in late October yet the place was still busy - but busy in a good way; enough diners to make an atmosphere but not too many to impact the service quality. The waiter explained the menu as it is not your standard fare and helped us choose both a vegetarian meal and something for one of the party who 'likes it hot'. Food was great with each dish tasting completely different; again a huge step away from the predictable protein + generic sauce option that some Indian restaurants like to churn out. Portions were decent sized and the bill pleasantly reasonable. Really liked the character of the place and have already recommended to a number of friends.
