Reviews on Healthy food in Benicasim, Province of Castellon, Spain. Benicàssim (Valencian pronunciation: [beniˈkasim], Spanish: Benicasim, Arabic: بنو قاسم according to numismatic findings) is a municipality and beach resort located in the province of Castelló, on the Costa del Azahar in Spain. The Desert de les Palmes mountain range further inland shelters the town from the north wind. The name is derived from the Banu Qasim tribe, a segment of the Kutama Berbers that settled the area during the 8th century Moorish conquest of Spain.

Muy buenas todas las raciones que llevamos, tiene una ensaladilla impresionante y la fidegua también muy buena, unas albóndigas riquÃsimas, lo único el precio un poco caro
The chicken was completely raw. When I complained they only simply re-cooked the half eaten food, and when the brought it back it was still raw. We left but they insisted we still pay full price. Would definitely not recommend.

The Palasiet Club, located next to the VÃa Verde, opposite the Thalasso Hotel El Palasiet, combines the best Mediterranean and market cuisine with the most spectacular views of the Bay of Benicà ssim.
This place is located in a great place to enjoy the views of Benicassim beach. The sevice is very good and they offer a good range of breakfast , bruncg and lunch with tapas, sadwiches and dishes. The toast with anchovies and the sepia is very good, and we loved the local Turia beer. It is the perfect place to see the sunset after a nice walk.

Termas Marinas El Palasiet Hotel is very well known, not only as one of the best thalassotherapy centers in Europe, but also for its healthy and delicious cuisine. At El Palasiet Restaurant, our aim is to prove our customers every day that living a health
I've eaten there a couple of times. As a place is spectacular, very nice, clean and with amazing views. Very good if you want to have a drink in the terrace. Service is not really a 4star service tough, was missing some caring from servers. Food was not horrible but was nothing really good for a pretty expensive menu, portions quite small...It does not worth value for money.Dear, Hector,Firstly, I would like to appreciate you to dedicate your time to value our establishment, above all, we have in mind you have written your opinion when our restaurant has been closed from the 1st of November , the day we close normally, till the 11th of April due to the Winter stop. This fact proves us that our restaurant has been stayed in your memory for a long time because the relationship between quality and price, as low as ours is, logically it is not easy to forget by a visitor from UK.We hope your next visit to our city and to our establishment will give you the best impression of our business.

We came across Umami by accident as the original restaurant we had wanted to dine at was closed. But I am so glad that we did. The food is fusion Japanese with a light touch of Spanish flavours to make it a unique taste. We ordered a selection of two gyozas (2 x beef cheek, 4 x seafood). These were obviously handmade by the chefs and not out of a box. They were light and tasty morsels... And I knew it was a promising start to the dinner. These were followed by a selection of three sashimi and then my favourite dish of the evening the tuna tataki (tataki de atun). It was dressed with a light sauce accompanied with little crunchy bits of salmorejo and chives. This dish was pure heaven in my mouth. We then had soft shell crab and a huge plate of wagyu beef robata. I was stuffed by the time I savoured my last slice of fatty grilled beef. But dessert !!! I was hesitating (to be good or not to be good) I told myself that I would diet tomorrow and that was an excellent decision as the bizcocho blanco did not disappoint. Served on a small piece of sweet bread, dolloped with creamed condensed milk and vanilla ice cream and dusted lightly with matcha powder, it reminded me of childhood and eating toast smothered in condensed milk ... But like a grown up version done properly!! I didn't share any with my husband ! In all the ambience was delightful ... and completely matches the food. Unassuming and elegant. We sat in the courtyard which was adorned in white furniture with candles and the staff were so friendly and patient. Our waiter who spoke perfect English, was one of the highlights of our meal. His recommendations were spot on and I must say, This has been one of the best meals I have had in a while. Do try it if you're in the area.

Altamente recomendable!
