The food is excellent!! And the service is just as good, very polite and helpful. They go out of their way to make sure you have a good meal on each visit. I've been several times and will continue to go back.

Family own restaurant, Authentic Mexican food. All the Mexico City street food in one restaurant. (Tacos, Tostadas, Enchiladas, Sopes, Enmoladas, guacamole and more...)
My partner is a fan - and has sopa de tortilla often. She thought the American Southwest couldn't be matched. But it was! In Belleville! The hand-made chips and variety of sauces were also a big hit. Terrific that it's easy to accommodate those who like "really hot" with those who like "mild".My companions raved about the lovely fresh lime margueritas. As one who doesn't like tequila, I was feeling a bit left out. However, our server (turned bartender) was cheerfully willing to substitute rum and call it a daiquiri for me! I joined the party! The enchiladas verdes were enjoyed as well. The only disappointment was the burrito gringo castor - a flavourful mixture of pork, spices and grilled pineapple. I had it once before and really enjoyed it. This time the meat was grizzly and really was a turn off. When I mentioned it to the server (thereby explaining why I wasn't eating it and didn't want it packaged up), she told me that most times it was great, but sometimes it turned out that way. She took $2 off the bill. I appreciated that she at least acknowledged it, but hoped for more - especially if it wasn't a one-off occurrence. I must say that her reaction was a much bigger shock because she was an excellent server - friendly, attentive, and willing to tolerate our move to outside and back in again with patience. I would certainly return - and appreciate supporting a family owned business. I'm not sure if I'll order the burrito gringo castor again, though......sadly.

Nice, friendly ,warm & cozy place for having coffee, breakfast ,lunch, dinner ,snack and more . More welcome for your meetings with nice catering
Went here with our granddaughter for lunch and was quite disappointed. The restaurant is quite pleasant and appealing although a bit unusual as that it shares half the space with a shoe store.Thatâs where it stops. I had their soup and half sandwich special. The soup that day was cauliflower/broccoli and it had little flavour and no bulk. It appeared to be a vegetable broccoli stock with some cauliflower floating in it. The egg salad sandwich although substantial for half a sandwich had little flavour. My wife had the quiche which consisted of a very small quiche which was like a dry sponge and it came with an home fries. My granddaughter had a chicken salad which she said was quite good. The prices were reasonable but we will not be returning. It is unfortunate for us that you didn't have a good experience. i am concerned that you didn't mention this to the server. Our chicken salad is home made from freshly cooked chicken breast and prepared accordingly. We have had no complaints until now. As far as the quiche , this will also be a first. All comments are taken seriously as we pride ourselves on service and excellent quality of food. Please to all who read this, instead of writing a negative review please mention any concerns while present at the establishment.ty

Close to the travel wonders of Prince Edward County, Birdy's is a friendly, casual place to explore the world of food. Featuring wines from PEC vintner Huff Estates. Outdoor on the patio or in our private meeting room, Birdy's will take care of you with i
Birdy's is our favourite breakfast spot! I love the Eggs Benedict done three ways! We also enjoyed a lovely dinner on our first visit. We sat on the patio our last visit on the long weekend for breakfast. It was quite busy as expected. We were seated inside but asked to move to the patio as the A/C was too cold. We waited over fifteen minutes for coffee and water...not acceptable. We saw that another table that came in after us was served before we were. We waited over a half hour for our food but the toast was another five and came soaking in butter and had to wait again. My husband ordered it dry. The food was very good when we did get it. The waitress did take the coffee off our bill. We will go again but not on a weekend or holiday. We love the menu and will return for a special dinner in the near future.Thank you Sharon M for your four star rating and thoughtful review. I am sorry, the Sunday breakfast long weekend service was not acceptable by our restaurant standards either. Unfortunately on that day a server called in sick at the last minute and additional help did not arrive until 11 am. Please contact Tina at [email protected]. I hope to make it right with you and encourage you not to forgo Birdys on the weekends. We are typically fully staffed and service is excellent.
