Conveniently located across the road from Puri Sunia Resort, this delightful little (tourist) warung has a beautiful outlook over the rice paddy, with equally delightful staff to boot! Food was cheap and cheerful and the best budget meal I had in Ubud! Highly recommend the lumpia (spring rolls) - very yummy :)

The restaurant at Sarinbuana Eco Lodge is an excellent place to eat healthy, locally-sourced, and delicious food. It is open to visitors but clearly given the location the main customers are those staying at the lodge.The restaurant itself looks great. It has a nice ambience to it with the wooden tables and the relaxed vibe. Looking out down the valley covered with forest is a pleasing backdrop to eating a meal.Service is good and English is spoken. The meals are ordered in advance and it is easy to explain what is needed. Meal times are set but are actually flexible as requests were responded to for changing times. There are two parts to the menu. One part is always available with a set of staples such as pizza, pasta, and nasi goreng being orderable all the time. These come in handy for young children who need familiar flavours. For those who want to explore the other part of the menu is excellent. It has a different offering each day around different themes.Some of the options are a bit more exotic such as the jungle special which was beautifully prepared. Vegetarian options are available for each set meal. Meals can be eaten with either tofu or tempe. There are delicious curries and Balinese flavours which are truly delicious. The salads are not as good as the other food options but generally the more Balinese the food, the more delicious.Dessert are ok. The ice creams and sorbets went down well though melted really quickly in the climate. The chocolate mousse was particularly tasty and worth trying.There are a range of drink options including a cocktails with a couple of arak options being available. Always worth trying a local flavour but the arak cocktails were too sweet.Value is good with even the most expensive options being little more than IDR100k.The range of things to eat make it worth staying at Sarinbuana for a few days in order to try the varied flavours available on different days. We visited this restaurant and we enjoyed it so much, that we reserved another night as well. This is the standard of a Michelin restaurant, and in such a convincing manner that we have not experienced a quality and standard as this, in the two times we have visited Bali. This is of European standard (very proud of our cuisine) and with the great sparkle of asian and indonesian taste and flavour. Absolutely perfect coocking and hosting - an impecable experience in any way. The surroundings were astonishing as well.If you have any interest in exellent food and wine, you have to visit this place. It is absolutely worth every rupiah and is an enjoyment of a lifetime! Kindest and most skilled staff you could wish for.
