Superb place for lunch. Close to Osso beach. English menus available. Plenty of hot and cold choices. Sandwiches come in a choice of four types of bread. For me the Syrian is the best. Smoothies are as fresh as can be. all the fruit is at the right point of ripeness. Acai was the best blended in with all sorts of other fruits. Excellent

Chilean, Brazilian and international food
The menu was a mix of cuisines, most things were Chilean dishes but they also had Mexican, Argentinian and Brazilian meals. Of the Chilean dishes most were the richer rather than healthier and homely style dishes of Chilean cuisine which means a lot of deep frying is involved. The empanadas de la casa were very oily and not that great. The Lomo a lo Pobre was a solid serving and not too bad with an excessively large portion of chips. The Tomate Relleno (stuffed tomato) was a little disappointing as the tomato wasn't even stuffed it had just been cut in half and drowned in mayonnaise with a bit of tuna. The drinks fridge wasn't cold on the day we were there either, so my beer was warm.Overall it wasn't that bad, the staff were trying hard and were friendly, it just didn't seem things were going their way. Being from a Chilean background I was a little disappointed in the food. Reasonably priced though, would probably give it another try as it could have been they were having a bad day. Thanks for your feedback, it is our idea of ââgiving an excellent attention to all our visitors and make your holiday unforgettable, unfortunately on the day of your visit we had enough problems with our equipment unexpected cold, hopefully, when we again visit the be of service excellence as you deserve, we apologize for what happened that day, a friendly hug

"Pepa" and her staff do a phenomenal job - great service, excellent lunches and a great value. I ate here many days for lunch during my month long stay in Buzios/Cabo Frio area. The specials cannot be beaten in terms of flavor, quality and price....keep up the good work !!

It's been over a year since I reviewed Graos. Since then, they've expanded their restaurant seating and their grocery area. There's a beautiful mural painted by Smael (a local contemporary/street artist). The core staff are all still there, still smiling and as helpful as always. The new additions to the team are just as sweet and welcoming. For the past couple of months, I've been stopping by each week for their daily lunch specials. I'm really impressed at how they continue to offer a great vegetarian meal, for a reasonable price (18 reais +/- ). I'm a huge fan of their veggie burgers. They offer several choices from a sweet potato base to a garbanzo bean base. They're tasty, great texture and come with a wonderful whole grain bun. You can also switch out the bun for veggies, salad or both. I had reviewed Graos in April 2015, which I stated that they could improve the grocery area to include more organic offerings. They have!!! I'm also impressed with the selection of bulk spices, nuts, seeds and flours. I buy all my nuts, seeds and spices here now. They also have a large selection of raw vegan nut/seed bars, fresh baked sweets and grab to go snacks. If you're pressed for time, they have ready made quiches and other yummy options. The fridge is stocked with local brewed beer, soy-based items, tapioca flour and coconut water. It's also the only place in town where you can drink an organic cup of coffee!
