It is located roughly 13 kilometres (8 mi) north of Madrid and 7 kilometres (4 mi) from Barajas International Airport. It includes a central urban zone, a recently built district known as Valdelasfuentes, La Moraleja and El Soto de la Moraleja residential zones, the Valdelatas nature reserve and a light industrial estate. A huge business park called Valdelacasa for high-tech firms is being built. It is the location of a basketball museum organised by the Pedro Ferrándiz Foundation where the FIBA Hall of Fame is located.

I would recommend this self service restaurant for the friendly staff and tasty 3 course menu. All for 10.90 euro or one course 8.90 euro very clean too

These guys know very well what they have on their hands.Just apart of having set, since a long time ago, the best garden center I have visited ever.And I can assure at this point, I have visited a bunch, the Xmas decoration is a mandatory season visit since years, or just a simple visit all over the year for the pleasure of visiting without a purpose.Well, some years ago they decided to set an spot El Invernadero, I have already reviewed here, where we used to go randomly, at winter is a real pleasure.Now, they have decided to open a new space La Cúpula, no more comments needed, just give a jump and let yourselves fall down over, superb. This restaurant is located in a modern style hotel with large sun-lit rooms. We ate with a large work group and had pre-ordered our entrees so we were able to dine in a relatively efficient manner. The quality of the food was excellent starting with the appetizers including some outstanding olives, a rich tomato soup from Andalusia, and the entrees which were limited to merluza (super fresh and tasty) and a large piece of beef (perfectly done). The service was excellent. Definitely worth a visit for the quality of the food.
