Nice vegetarian and vegan restaurant in the heart of the flores island. Everything is cook with fresh ingredients, with love specialy form every of you. Hope you enjoy tour time with us!
We came here at the recommendation of our hostel. There were five tables to be waited on and only one person managing the whole place. She took our order fifteen minutes after we were seated and another half an hour later came to confirm what we ordered. This happened for all tables. We were at the end of our trip and relaxed and did not mind the wait . Otherwise, we would have just left. Our food took a looooong time to come. My dish was good but my husbands dish was clearly missing salt. In the hurry to get food out, the salt and some seasoning was forgotten. Overall, I will still say decent food, but avoid unless the kitchen has more than 1 person to help!

In the heart of Flores, Guatemala, Café Arqueológico Yaxha is the place not only to feel the Mayan vibe, but to taste authentic pre-hispanic Mayan cuisine. One of the most affordable places to eat in Flores, open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with a t
Cafe Yaxha is an adorable restaurant serving delicious food, including a variety of authentic Mayan specialties. I enjoyed lunch at this restaurant during my trip to Guatemala in November 2016. Located in a colourful colonial building, the interior of the cafe was beautiful with colourful murals covering all of the walls. There were multi-coloured Mexican blankets at tablecloths. The restaurant was well-decorated and very cute. The atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing. The menu featured a variety of freshly prepared, home-cooked dishes including pastas, curry, stir fry, smoothies, salads, breakfasts, sandwiches and typical Maya specialties. There was plenty of vegetarian options. I ordered the vegetarian curry and Topoxte smoothie which were both tasty! The curry was so creamy and delicious and the smoothie was very refreshing. The cafe had really fast Wi-Fi, which I enjoyed using. The service was not the greatest, and I had to ask for a menu after sitting and waiting for a little awhile and then had to place my order at the bar, with no-one coming to my table to do so. It appeared that there was definitely a lack of staff and the service could use some improvements. Despite the poor service, their food was incredible and I would definitely recommend this restaurant for a delicious meal in Flores.

La Danta very good food and friendly staff, the best coffee in the Flore Island. Paninis, Pastas, Fish, Crepps and smothies.
Half a pound of very big shimps was enough to satisfy our hungry stomachs. La Danta Cafe in the hearth of Flores is worth a visit. You will not be disapointed if you order the shimps. Well prepared and served with a smile. To be recommended.

Here at Maracuyá we believe in healthy and locally sourced food. Come enjoy our fresh fruit and vegetable juices, smoothies and tasty vegetarian food. All the while enjoying beautiful views of the lake on the most quiet corner of the island.
We visited Flores and found one of âthe bestâ vegetarian places there according to TripAdvisor. The place is very beautiful itself, very peaceful with an amazing view. My friend who saw my insta story also said that it is the best vegetating town. Our group was very hungry after rope jumping across the lake and was really looking forward to the food. The menu had only three options available which were written on the board (see picture attached). And each of us got one of the options. My friendâs spaghetti plate, which was not even spaghetti, but fusilli, came mixed with tasteless hummus and a peace of avocado on top for Q60. When I told the chief that the description of the pasta type on the menu doesnât match, he didnât even know the difference between those two types. My rice bowl for Q45 was suppose to have only beans and rice and I asked to add me some veggies- may be tomatoes or avocado, simply something to make it a bit more flavorful - all I got was a piece of cabbage with two carrot sticks on top. The third dish was spring rolls, which were blent with mostly celery and carrot sticks inside. On the way out I talked to the girl in the restaurant who didnât speak English and asked the âchiefâ to speak with me. I explained to him that we were very disappointed with the food. The answer was - âOK.âAround the corner we went and gotten an amazing tacos for Q10 and enjoyed them much more (see the picture below).Dear Pranayana,Oh, I`m so sorry to read that your experience at Maracuya was not nice at all. I thought you liked the food because I saw the plates empty and for me if I do not like something I just return the plate with the food. The menu was very specific with the plates and it was not only rice and beans like you said, it was a salad of white beans, sauteed green beans and rice. I was the one who prepared the hummus sauce and it`s so weird it had no taste but I guess we all taste in different ways. Thank you for stopping by our restaurant and for taking a moment to leave a review.Cheers,

Artesanal Cuisine Restaurant, Grill And Wood Oven At The Sight Of The Customer. With A Great View Of The Peten Itza Lake.
Just down the malecon from my hotel, this great restaurant is right on and over the water. The staff are attentive and the food is very good. I had tacos (2 dinners), Caesar salad, and pizza (1 dinner). Relaxing atmosphere.

Paolo is the greatest bartender!!! Fast, smiling, and beautiful cocktails! Everything you want on a night out in a great setting! Atmosphere is great with lights and heaps of setting options for small or large groups. Looking over the lake surrounding Flores.

The seating, decor and vibes of this bar/restaurant are incredible! There are live turtles and rabbits roaming around by the pond and trees (so fun) and the seating is unique (couches, hammocks, swing). The fries here are my favorite part. I also loved their wide assortment of food. The mixed drinks are pretty heavy on the soda but there is a great selection of beer specials!Rebecca, Thank you for the nice review. We are glad you enjoyed the restaurant and bar as much as you did. We wish we had known you thought the drinks were heavy on the soda so we could have done something about it. It does seem strange many of our drinks call for 1.5oz of alcohol. Either way thank you for bringing this to our attention, and for the nice review. We would love to have you back any time

Chose this restaurant for the outstanding reviews, location/scenery and that they advertised steak. Restaurant was nice, mojitos were excellent but steak meal was average at best. The steak was more of a skirt type steak. Two options for cooking well done and medium well were offered. I choose medium well and was VERY medium well done, tough and not real flavorful. The highlight of the dish was the thick cut fries which were crispy , seasoned well and substantial. Not a lot of choices on the menu.

I will start by saying I had maybe the best chicken quesadilla ive ever had so I was happy. My fiance was not too happy with the Margarita she ordered. I think there was a language barrier issue there. The vibe was nice but the music was really loud and at one point we were the only ones there.Hello, it's a pleasure to serve you. Sorry, our staff does not speak English and we really regret that the Margarita was not good. By the way, we really appreciate the great score you gave us. We will work on our language and sound problems. You're welcome, this will always be your home.
