Spent a day wandering around Tromso, deciding where we would like to eat on final night. Decided on Roast, Granted on the outside it looks just like any old Hotel. However, once you go past reception you are greeted by Thomas who you can see likes everything to be 'Just so' but with a good sense of humour. We are offered different tables and order drinks, couple of large G &Ts, then mull over the fantastic menu. Started with Moules, followed by Roast Board and Lammecarre, quaffed down with a very good Mersault and a Tia Maria Coffee. Service from Julie was very good and attentive, well worth a visit.Dear David H!How lovely that you had a wonderful evening at Roast. Hope to see you soon again.Kind regards

The inviroment at Graffiâs was nice with a great athmosphere. I ordered a sharong meal toghether with my colleague, and the plank had a bit of everything. Nice and tasty. Graffi also had serveral types of local beer, and I tried a couple of them. Also good. Nothings wrong with their ambitions, neither on the food nor the winelist, but it is a wow-factor missing that could fullfill their - and our - dreams; an overall consensus rather than a specificity is so far the rule, and thats a pity. Food first: Its kind of well done, but please don't go there, head for the full monty, make it yours and not a replica of a so called good dish! The wines; its some really good alternatives here including nature and bio-wines, but again its no clear direction or detectable will behind the selection; please dare to be brave and present a smaller rather than (relatively) huge and representative list. That said; I did enjoy my visit including a meal and a good bottle, and I therefor look forward to get a spot-on experience next time around! Could be a great restaurant coming up here....
