New owners refurbished with impeccable taste in Dec 2016.Salmorejo good (too much garlic, too thin), calamares good, Beefburger excellent, cheescake excellent, wide selction of red wine by the glass from all over Spain, service charming and unobtrusive.Would definitey go back for aperitivo wi pincho or full meal.

You can get the baby pig here roasted and served head and all! This is a specialty of the region. As you may already know ham reigns here and is cured and prepared in many ways. You have to have ham that is cured in Spain. If you can not do a baby pig, then try some cured slices.Thank you for your opinion and review. We are very happy that the roast suckling pig was of his taste, roasted in a traditional way and in a wood-fired oven, it is undoubtedly one of our star dishes and we have been doing it the same for 124 years. Thank you for your visit to Segovia and this restaurant, we hope that you can return in the near future and continue enjoying the city and our cuisine.

I've eaten here several times over the past 5 years and the food has always been excellent. It's cutting-edge cuisine like you would find in a major metropolitan city but in a small town. If you're looking for excellent food at a very reasonable price, it's imperative you eat here. It's only 5 minutes from Segovia and well worth the drive. ESPANOL: He comido aquà varias veces en los últimos 5 años y la comida siempre ha sido excelente. Es una cocina de vanguardia como la que encontrarÃas en una gran ciudad metropolitana, pero en una ciudad pequeña. Si estás buscando comida excelente a un precio muy razonable, es imprescindible que comas aquÃ. Está a solo 5 minutos de Segovia y bien vale la pena el viaje.

We had dinner at this restaurant as part of a group. A companion and I ordered a bottle of wine, and gave the payment for the bottle to the group leader, who was paying the total bill for the entire group. After the leader paid and left, the waiter, obviously a seasoned professional who saw an opportunity, presented us with a bill for the bottle and demanded payment. Since our leader had left, we had no choice but to pay (or call the police, which in Spain would have been of doubtful use.) The restaurant is staffed by thieves who should not be trusted. Diner beware!Dear Customer.Once we have researched your experience in our establishment, we have verified that your guide paid the group invoice by credit card. SHE (TOUR GUIDE) PAID ONLY THE CONTRACTED SERVICES. SHE DIDN´T PAY THE WINE BOTTLE. Unfortunately through Tripadvisor we can´t attach this information for everyone to see, so we would appreciate it if you would contact us to send you a copy of the dinner bill, as well as the visa ticket, and you can check that what we tell you is true.It´s very serious to accuse someone of a thief, so please talk with your guide to clarify what happened.OUR ESTABLISHMENT NEVER COLLECTED THE BOTTLE OF WINE TWICE.Best regards,The Restaurant Manager.

We stopped here for lunch. The food was good and not too expensive. We had a mixture of salad, sopa Castellana and Chirizo, and all tasted well. Service was polite and friendly, but slow. We would visit again. Thank you very match for your remark.We will wait for your next visit to Segovia!

One of the many restaurants servibg the local specialties of cochinillo, castellana soup, and beans "judias de la granja". The judias and soup were very bland, and somewhat lacking in flavour. The cochinillo was fine, but nothing special and lacking in meat. Sorry....Wouldnt go back.

First evening we had the conchinillo which was excellent.Stuffed peppers for starters.Wine, bread included and chupito ti finish.It was so good we returned tonight. Even better.We had the streak, tomato mozzarella salad. Desserts light and tasty.Wind and bread included, Delightful staff. Best deal in Segovia.Thank you for your visit and for your opinion. Doing some site seeing in Segovia province, one of my friends from Madrid told me to visit this restaurant. He told me I would love it and he was right. I went with a group of friends this past weekend. The weather was on our side so it made the experience even better. We got rice with bogavante (a type of lobster), a cheese plate, red peppers, wine, dessert, coffee and a drink, all coming out to be 20 euros per person. Also, I am a vegetarian and the peppers and cheese plate were for me. :) It's a splendid place to spend a Saturday eating and visiting.
