Yuki (Yoo-ki), which means snow in Japanese, it is a restaurant where you can enjoy not only great taste, good service but also our fabulous Hibachi show. We prepare our food with only the best. All house sauces are made from scratch with fresh and the fi
We love Japanese food, and wanted teppanyaki for a celebration.Called at 2:00 pm to make reservations and their grill area was already totally booked from 5:30 to 7:00 pm. So reserved for 7:30 pm. Many reviews said we would wait even then and we did. Had a great glass of wine while waiting another 25 min to get seated....IT WAS WORTH THE WAIT.First let me speak to the value. I know this is Topeka but the prices for their Teppanyaki is incredibly reasonable! And the quality is not to be beat.Next the menu. Great appetizers with Sushi (or you can seat at or near the sushi bar and have a sushi dinner!). The tuna was of the best quality and sliced perfectly. For the grill their was a broad range of fish, and then chicken and steak. Our group did filet mignon and shrimp, while I had Filet mignon and lobster. absolutely cooked to perfection. The chef was young but did a great job. Good at socializing while preparing our meal. All in all a great experience and well worth it if in Topeka. BUT get a reservation. At least 4 were turned away as walk-ins, so learn from their mistake Yuki thank you!

We eat pretty healthy at home, but when we're out of town, we like to indulge and so we wanted to get some country cooking while visiting Topeka. Cook's looked perfect. I had the chicken fried steak with beans and mashed potatoes and can heartily recommend it. We also tried onion rings which were great and my daughter got a kid meal which was nothing special, but came in a really fun cardboard car. Nice!We also tried raisin pie, because, why not? I liked it, but they said they weren't selling too much of it, so don't know if it will be there much longer. Overall, fun and relatively inexpensive meal. Also, unlike some country restaurants, the portions were a good size, not too huge, but big enough to fill you up. Good and fast and friendly service also.

Had lunch here recently, and had the Hangover Burger. I've never had a bad burger here, but had not tried the hangover one, (I didn't have a hangover), but this is a perfect burger. Wow! This is the kind of burger you dream of eating . . . it was cooked to perfection, juicy, hot, with an egg and other yummy condiments. Service good, atmosphere is good. One comment about the appetizer 'balls.' They serve different flavors of 'balls'.' The ball part is hashbrowns with mashed potatoes and other ingredients to have different flavors, served with a sauce. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE, GET THE ATOMIC BALLS! I eat really hot and spicy food but clearly this is not for anyone but those who like self-inflicted pain. The heat came through my teeth, my throat, my eustachian tubes out of my ears!! I couldn't taste anything for a number of minutes. I advised them to sell a 'first-aid' kit as an option for those who order Atomic Balls. Aside from the warning about their Atomic Balls, enjoy the rest of the menu.

We stopped by for the wings specials night, and were sadly disappointed. Not in the service; that always seems great. But my wife got gluten free boneless wings and I got extra spicy wings with a naked potato. First...they still haven't figured out how to make wings anything like "extra spicy." Worse, though...geez, the unadvertised upcharges. I have never been charged extra for butter and sour cream. Or, for that matter, celery. And there's even an upcharge on the gluten free breading for the wings. None of it was horrendous, but still...$.75 for celery? Never again.
