Sunday lunchWe stayed in the indigo for the weekend but each night this restaurant was fully booked. However we managed a Sunday lunch....The beef was lovely and the Yorkshire puds were huge, the pork belly had too much fat and not enough meat, but tasty.Service was good apart from being the only ones in the restaurant not to be offered a drink from the drinks trolley, rather disappointing. Expensive for what you get but very tasty and included is service with the bill without getting a choice.Dear JohnmF5711TT, The Woodsman books up very far in advance at the weekends but we are glad that we could accommodate you this afternoon. Thank you for passing on your feedback about your Sunday Lunch with us and it has been delivered to the relevant departments. I apologise that you were not offered the drinks trolley. This must have been a genuine oversight on our part, however had you made your server aware we would have sent it over immediately or alternatively offered you a digestif on us. Service is optional and can be instantly removed if a guest so wishes but we are glad that you find your meal tasty. Next time you join us if you contact myself directly on [email protected] we can ensure that you have a drink from the trolley!Best, Rachael

We had Sunday lunch with most of 2 families, so we seemed to have a large part of the restaurant and the inclement weather stopped people eating in the large garden. You need to book if it looks like rain. The restaurant is about 3 miles outside Stratford-Upon-Avon, so there is no problem with parking (Stratford town centrehas problems with limited time of an hour even on Sundays)The Sunday menu has a choice of roasts as well as vegetarian options. Between us we had most of the menu and it was cooked well and the staff were prompt and were already aware that one of our party needed to have a gluten free meal.Good value for the meals when compared to the hotels in central StratfordThe adjacent hotel is a new addition over the last couple of years. As locals we have no experience of its facilities but it is definitely worthwhile for a few meals here

The Four Alls, in picturesque Welford on Avon, has been elegantly, tastefully and imaginatively restored and extended. The result is the very best kind of modern country pub, serving delicious, Mediterranean inspired food in beautiful surroundings. Relaxi
Would I eat here again? NO. Not so much down to food but service, a complete lack of ambience and strange errors. We were shown to a school dining room style room. Ordered a starter which they apparently haven't had for several weeks so why is it on the menu? Ordered roast lamb that arrived drowning in gravy and not served with the runny stuff in a gravy boat so that was the first error. The Lamb was smothered in some herb which wasn't listed on the menu so another error, both combined left my main course as unappetizing and the yorkie was cold, picked out of a container on the bar open to all the elements. Another error was my cider arrived and it was poured over a glass full of ice rocks, it's chilled so I didn't want ice to water it down but I was never given the choice, 3rd error. The banoffee sundae was nice but my coffee arrive prior to the sweet so by the time I was ready to drink it my coffee was cold and not nice, that was the fourth mistake. One mistake is forgivable but 4 is 3 too many and unforgivable. Ask the customer as we all want different things. Then there was a 20 minute wait for a bill and £70 for 2 main courses, 2 drinks and 2 sweets is very high pricing given the ambience of a school canteen and the mistakes made. This is a 3 star Pub trying to be something it isn't because it has a lovely river view. The food was well cooked but the mistakes takes it off my list of future eateries.Hi John - thank you for taking the time to leave us some feedback. We are very proud of the standard of the food and service that we offer and we are sorry to hear that we missed the mark this time. We would like to discuss your experience with you further - please could you send an email to us at [email protected] with some contact details along with the date you visited us? Our management team can then look into what might've gone wrong and get back to you directly.Kind Regards,CaitlinThe Four Alls Team
