Fantastic evening. Loved it! Had the carpaccio which I thought tasted more like marinated roast beef, but the main, thai beef salad made up for it and the great service and warm welcoming! The ex Mr. French guy knows what he is doing!

Visited on a Sunday after a walk for brunch. Good range of food and drink included in the 250 sek price. Nice setting with a lovely terrace for the summer. Would visit definitely visit again.

Restaurant 'Bryggan' is located in Lidingo, an island just outside Stockholm, where there archipellago starts. In the marina, just by the water front, you can enjoy an excellent variety of courses from Sweden and Europe as well as classics from the grill.

Small local restaurant with a good menu, friendly staff and a location that is hard to beat when the sun shines! Wine is a bit expensive though, a general problem with eating out in Stockholm/Sweden. The long summer evenings in Stockholm make sitting by the sea a relaxing activity, you can't be stressed when looking out into the Baltic with a cold beer in your hand!Dear Paul,Thank you for your review - I agree regarding the wine. It's a general problem in Sweden in with the current tax rates on alcohol, hence nothing we can do about it really. We try to have a wide spread in the wine list, yet it starts at higher than in southern europe for example. Wishing you a nice summer and welcome back! :)

Went to Matboden on a Wednesday early evening, family of 4 (two kids pre-teen). No issues getting a table without reservations but the restaurant quickly filled up behind us. Service was pleasant and very friendly. The Swedish meatballs were authentic and excellent. The wienerschnitzel was slightly less traditional and amazing (especially the sauce and seasoned butter). The char was perfect. Simply stated, everything was wonderful, but the crispy potatoes and vegetable side dish stole the show.
