Our first visit and on a busy Saturday night. Table was booked for 20.30 but we didnât eat a thing until 21.45. Waitress was lovely and apologised and gave us a round of drinks on the house without us asking for anything which was very nice of her.Good things - lovely waitress, food was amazing, nice bustling atmosphere. Not so good things - Long wait, expensiveAnd whats the lettuce wedge all about ? Donât quite get that Love your review, Thank you for so honest comment and we are so sorry about wait, but Saturday night is really hard for us and we try make everyone happy. And the lettuce wedge originally came from an old America steak house back in 1950s. We've put our own twist on it, as it use to be served plain. The lettuce Wedge is a refreshing accompaniment that compliments the rich flavours of the steak.
We live locally and have always been regulars at the Greyhound so was delighted when the new manager decided to start food! The pub itself is such an old charming village pub with a lovely beer garden and really good selection of real ales, wines, sprits etc and there is always a brilliant atmosphere and friendly welcome. Itâs predominantly a drinking pub so this isnât fine dining or fancy tables or an-extensive 3 course menu etc itâs bar food and snacks but really good bar food!! Weâve eaten steaks, ribs, burgers and pizzas and all have been delicious. The mighty meat feast is amazing but word to the wise it will feed 2-3 of you! Itâs enormous!! The smokehouse meats are tender, tasty and just as good as some of the bbq joints Iâve eaten in whilst in the USA. Itâs really good value for money with all the main meals around the £10-12 mark with a few exceptions. The staff are great and will accommodate all your needs. You must pay it a visit!

It's the little things that don't necessarily cost a lot to put right that let Lenny's Bar & Grill down. Two things we noticed within 20 seconds was the dirty vinegar bottle on the table, and the carpet clearly hadn't been vacuumed for some time. I was struggling to work out whether Lenny's Bar & Grill is a café trying to be a restaurant, if it is, then it's failed. In my opinion it should either open as a café with an appropriate menu and concentrate on that market, or open as a restaurant again with an appropriate menu and concentrate on the restaurant market, at the moment it seems to be trying to do both, poorly. Considering the venue has been a restaurant for some years previously then the restaurant option may have been the way to go.The food was OK, nothing special just OK, to be honest there wasn't a lot to make me want to go back which is a shame. We may give it another go in twelve months time, if it's still open.

This Wetherspoons has been converted from an old cinema built in the 30s. It still retains the original decorative features. We dropped to get some dinner. Its a clean, bright place with a outside balcony and terrace, with a new view of the church at the rear of the premises. We used the app to place our order, and it arrived within ten minutes or so, the drinks arriving in less than 5.Standard Wetherspoon's fare, but made well and we have no complaints.Would happily return againThank you for your comments and we are glad you had a lovely time with us.

Waited 4 mins at the bar to be served. Not due to it being busy, due to staff completely ignoring meWon't be returning anytime soon â¹ï¸We are a extremely busy country pub and try to accommodate each and every customer that walks through the door. It can be beyond our control to what time and the amount of customers turn up at same time, we do endeavour to staff the pub accordingly but certain times we do get hit all at once. My staff are trained to always acknowledge customers when they arrive especially if people in front are ordering drinks and food We also serve throughout the 3 bars so people donât always realise that there are other areas also busy Thank you for your feedback

Mooching around on a wet Sunday we opted to have Sunday lunch, so as we were close to the Stags Leap decided to check it out, It is a Marstons pub who are usually a hot carvery service, in the case of this pub it has a waitress service. The staff are very friendly and efficient, we had ordered roast beef which arrived promptly, the plate was full to brim topped with two Yorkshire pubs. The quality of the meat and veg were well cooked and very good value meal. A minor point my brocolli had not been adequatly drained so I had a small lagoon of diluted gravy on my plate. If we are in the area we would happily dine there again.Thankyou for such lovely feedback, I have communicated to the kitchen team all the great points and the broccoli, with each review we aim to improve! We are so happy you gave us a go and that you thought the team where friendly and efficient they love hearing reviews, Thankyou!
